Yeah I've used the veet sensitive, tend to use on bikini line. smells evil but does work. I am super hairy which doesn't help. May just get a wax nearer the time but with hormones and all it will be so painful!!
Will have to try the Veet stuff in that case...probs have a trim first though!:o

It was so fast for me i'm in a bit of shock at the moment midwife gave me gas and air as soon as she walked in after two contractions she examined me and i was 7cm dialated after another contraction i made my way down stairs had another contraction on the way and needed to push but managed to hold off. Got my one leg over the side of the pool felt another contraction coming so threw myself in and out popped her head then another contraction and she was out and floating up so i grabbed her and we sat there for a while trying to compose myself OH nearly missed it as he had to fetch the midwifes delivery pack but he walked in just as she popped out.
Absolutely amazingYou got me in tears at work!!
Congratulations on baby Alexandra (love the name).

She was born in the pool but it was a very close call with her head popping out the minute i hit the water and the rest of her followed a minute later with the next contraction. Mommy and baby doing well :-) x

A day spent resting is not a day wasted...A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...My Fathers Daughter wrote: »Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

rach you are lucky the veet works on you, none of those cremes work on me
im always jealous of people who can use them as i imagine they are far easier!
i got waxed last week, and it is definately more sore when you are pregnant, but its still manageable. i guess though because ive tried not to shave in between the hairs came out easier. i just got the sides done, i dont think i could have coped getting the top "mound" bit done as you cant stretch the skin as well due to the bump. rach if you do go i think taking 2 paraceteamol beforehand tends to take the edge off a bit.0 -
Congratulations Xmas.
I got up today at 6.30am got the kids up and brekke sorted and promptly passed out banging the back of my head. ouch I have a lump and was not exactly on this planet. I managed a garbledd call to the OH who was naturally 80 miles north so he called my mum who let herself in with her spare key. I can vaugly remember her dressing the kids and my oldest saying granny mummy fell on the floor AGAIN! then i was in an ambulance. haha I got carted to hossie in the grottiest pj's ever. anyway i'm out, bit of a head ache so I have taken co-codomol on Dr's instruction and then my dad brought me back home.
Our schools go back tomorrow so DD1 is back at nursery and I really must be on the ball for that.MF aim 10th December 2020 :j:eek:MFW 2012 no86 OP 0/20000 -
Gosh Lilac, do they know what made you pass out? Must have been really scary, but thank goodness for your MIL!
Creams don't really work for me either... The hair grows back within a day or 2...A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls...
