tigtag - I get worried all the time, though I've never phoned the mw and like she said if I was really worried then i would do. Can you lie down, have a really cold drink and something sweet and see what happens? Usually works for me. x
Just had a chat with DH at work, he really doesn't seem to want me to go off sick as he seems to think it will mean they are less likely to want me back if I've left everything in a mess. I know what he means but don't know if I can manage. But then I think of all the things I have coming up, like an event I'm running next week etc and don't want to go off sick. Guess I'll see what the physio advises tomorrow and the MW on Fri. I've lost all motivation and almost feel like I am getting depressed.Mum to gorgeous baby boy born Sept 2010:j0 -
Glad your appt went well MLSL. Lucky you been given a sweep, my MW wouldn't do one until I'm a week overdue, feel bit annoyed now maybe I should have demanded one!
Hope Xmas is having mummy cuddles soon. Can't help but feel jealous as nothing is happening for mefeel huge and uncomfortable
Glad everyones appts have been going well. My OH missed the first 2 appts due to work but has attended all the rest. I found the MW more 'human' with him there, and she writes in the comments on my notes everytime if OH is present.
About to pop out and buy a new home phone, ours is completely broken and no mobiles pick up signal here so better get it sorted.0 -
I'm definitely the same fuzz, I can feel the odd kick but not the disco dancing I have been getting recently so I too think (s)he has moved.
We have a 4d scan booked for tomorrow evening so I'm think I should just wait?!?!:heartpuls baby no3 due 16th November :heartpulsTEAM YELLOWDFD 16/6/10"Shut your gob! Or I'll come round your houses and stamp on all your toys" The ONE, the ONLY, the LEGENDARY Gene Hunt :heart2:0 -
Thanks rach - I can't lie down as I'm at work (shouldn't even be on here) and the cold drink thing has never worked for me
I hate all this worry!!!

I'm one of the rare breed who doesn;t mind having blood taken. I do have phobias about other things so have an idea how you must have felt!
me neither, they only part I don't like is the midwife has stopped doing it herself so it means another trip to the hospital and taking a ticket and waiting half the day most the times I've been.
2girls try not to worry if they can't find the heartbeat, they couldn't find my babies but nothing was wrong x
oh tigtag enjoy the scan, wish I could justify the cost. Hope baby gets wiggling again soon for you (probably be tonight when you want to get some sleep).0 -
TT just try not to get too distracted by other stuff so when bubs does kick you'll know about it:D Right on cue I'm getting minor kicks under my ribs:T So my conclusion is bubs must be head down again and trying to get used to its new position:D
KK can't imagine how frustrating it is for you:( But bubs will turn up when it's good and ready...whens your next appointment?? And boo for a broken phone!1.11.09 - debt = £45k:eek:

all my kicks are at the bottom, my left hand side, and I get other movements at the top, especially the right. MW always says bubs is head down though and that the back comes up my right side, bum in the middle (can see it when i pull myself up) and then that the legs curl round. If it's so curled up perhaps that's why I've not felt much crushing aorund the ribs that other people talk about!
hdeusi - cold drinks tend to wake up babies, ice cream just worked on mine too!
I don't mind having the blood taken either, but like Merfe hate the hospital waiting!Mum to gorgeous baby boy born Sept 2010:j0 -
Just popping on to let you know Baby Alexandra Elizabeth Wilson was born at 10:30am weighing it at 8lb 15 1/2oz. She was born in the pool but it was a very close call with her head popping out the minute i hit the water and the rest of her followed a minute later with the next contraction. Mommy and baby doing well :-) x:jFriends are like fabric you can never have enough:j0
