TT hope bubs starts moving, sometimes they have a quiet day . . Also like this morning was trying to have a lie in bubs wasn't moving so couldn't sleep for worry then started kicking me in the ribs/hips then couldn't sleep as was hurting (I can't win).
Decided to purchase myself a home b/p monitor as I am sure the stress of hosp doesn't help, first of all had it on wrong and was measuring like I should be dead high!! Anyway after working it out got readings of 130ish/over 90ish which is still high for me and considering I'm on max amount of beta blockers (800mg per day now) but prob low enough to keep me out of hosp as was getting over 150 and 100. Going out to spend my mothecare vouchers and a free decaf coffee at Ikea, whilst I can!
Big, big labour vibes to mlsl, kk and hope Smartie's got on ok . .wow just noticed well done to Xmas, Suzy said it may be a speedy one LOL!!Thomas born 28/08/2010 weighing 5lbs and 4ounces, small but perfectly formed :j:j Now weighs 19lbs and 5 ounces

1 Midwife made it rach she arrived at 10am the other one got here just after placenta came away Its a good job they were on their way to a local clinic at the time if they had been in birmingham where they were based they wouldnt have made it in time.
It was so fast for me i'm in a bit of shock at the moment midwife gave me gas and air as soon as she walked in after two contractions she examined me and i was 7cm dialated after another contraction i made my way down stairs had another contraction on the way and needed to push but managed to hold off. Got my one leg over the side of the pool felt another contraction coming so threw myself in and out popped her head then another contraction and she was out and floating up so i grabbed her and we sat there for a while trying to compose myself OH nearly missed it as he had to fetch the midwifes delivery pack but he walked in just as she popped out.:jFriends are like fabric you can never have enough:j0 -
Thank you all i'm off for more cuddles now she is absolutely perfect and has proper chubby cheeks i will get a piccy on as soon as i can :-) xx:jFriends are like fabric you can never have enough:j0

She was born in the pool but it was a very close call with her head popping out the minute i hit the water and the rest of her followed a minute later with the next contraction.
