Hassel much respect to u cant believe you are due tomorrow and your at work :eek: is this your last day or are u going to keep going until you pop? im finishing next fri (i think) which is 2 weeks before im due and im a bit petrified that my waters will break in front of everyone or something like that lol

Thanks for the well wishes re: friend..very much appreciated:D She'll be going into surgery soon, just spoke to her Mum who has reported she's feeling ok just nervous and STARVING, she's not been allowed to eat since she was admitted yesterday and has been on a drip which apparently does nothing to stop the hunger pains:rotfl:

Dream, no its not my last day, I am here till I pop. To be honest, am not finding it that difficult. But then I only work a 10 min drive from home, nothing much wrong with me (just grumpiness), and the work keeps my brain occupied. am a programmer, so work to my own pace and take breaks as often as I require, nothing too stressful at mo due to immenent maternity leave etc. Just have no motivation at mo.

Another reason for staying is wages. The maternity policy here isnt that good (just a bit better than statutory) so cant afford for me to have too much maternity leave, and I'd prefer to have as much of it as poss once bubs is born.

However, as soon as I start struggling then I am going straight off. Waters Breaking - have a spare set of clothes in my desk draw just in case!

woohoo congrated to Angela84. I hope kitkat has popped. I saw that Courgette posted on the MF part earlier and was still pregnant at 15 days over what the hospital considered to be her EDD.

Hass - still at work!! blimming hell

I need to think about mat leave but have no idea when I am going off. Had GP today, i havent trapped my sciatic nerve it's my whole pelvis has tilted. Apparently a physio will be in touch and i've been given some co-codomol to take the edge off the pain. Lovely. Oh and i'm only 16 weks so christ knows what stage i will be in come term.

Today I overhear a telephone conversation between 'them' and 'this person' "we're sending you to this place to do this job is that ok?" :eek:

No one even bothered coming to speak to me about it, despite that fact that it's my job to ensure that the right people go to the right jobs and can actually do the work.

I give up, I really give up. I've e-mailed my line manager and said that I don't want to deal with the fall-out when it all goes wrong.
