I have seen on fb that Kitkat has had her baby from people congratulating her, but she hasn't posted her self on there.

Oi you I wasn't telling anyone so KK could tell all herself! :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Been for my scan and everything is ok. Saw babies heartbeat and feet and arms etc and i have a feeling that the sonographer had an idea what sex we were having, but i was too interested in watching my baby on the screen to question her until i was out of the room. They have got me at 13+1 instead of 12+6, which i got excited about...my oh asked if 2 days really mattered....Er yeah!

    Arghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!

I just want to have a little tiny sign, anything, that I'm gonna have this baby soon.

I thought DS being 17 days over was just him being a freak of nature, turns out the freak of nature is me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I just want to be able to bend over/walk at a normal speed/put my own knickers on without grunting and groaning.

    Arghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!

    Congrats Jojo :)

I'm having my next dilemma with baby planning purchases...cot/cotbed.

So what are you getting and why?

I thought I'd decided on a £100 cotbed, but after seeing them I'm not sure they would last the length of time they are meant for. So am now considering either a £100 cot, or a £250 cotbed (which seem far more solid).

Naturally I've fallen in love with one:

And it's on offer!!! It seemed really solid in the shop and I'm sure it was £250 yesterday. I can't possibly buy one this early though.

I'm going for a scan tomorrow where they can check that my placenta is still okay and babe is still quite happy (of course they're quite happy, they'd have been born otherwise :rotfl:) but I really really really do not want to be induced and I still really want my home water birth. It stops being a low risk delivery after 42 weeks and that's me tomorrow so they don't like doing them after that. I just clinging to the hope that as I didn't have any signs at all I was about to have DS just started having contractions that I'll be the same this time round. It's begining to feel like it'll never happen :o

  • I'm a total novice in all things baby..I'm learning as I go along! :o

How long over can you go before they induce you? Is it 2 weeks or something?

Have you tried all the old wives tales? a hot curry, pineapple, bit of nookie???

I love that as well. We decided at the weekend after all my questions that we wouldn't buy anything after all - we're waiting till after the 20 week scan now and hoping that 20% offer thing on Mothercare is still on!
