tig - hot compress to draw it out or you can buy a paste in boots as well.
Rach - that looks interesting, I actually seem to be doing ok at the moment especially considering no steroids for over 3 months. I a crossing my fingers it continues. I usually self inject every fortnight so all is going well. I hope your hiking sticks help
Don - it could be wind but at 36 weeks if its the real deal all would be ok. Just wake OH, not your fault he went to bed late.
Merfe - I had a dream i gave birth in the bathroom last time. I thought i had a dodgy tummy and a head crowned so I called my mum while head half out to get her over for DD and then called MIL who shouted at me for phoning her and not an ambulance.
Krystal - maybe a little call to yur MW/GP. Your 14-15 weeks aren't you? I had red blood last week at 14+6 as well but i think it was because of constipation. I asked the MW yesterday and she says the cervix is full of blood so sometimes if it gets irritated it bleeds a little. Apparently poops moving thru the back passage can irritate it as well as sex and even for perfumed bath products if you are having a long soak.
Well DD1&2 still have the cold, DD1 was a bit clingy in nursery yesterday but is insisting she wants to go today, DD2 is saying everything is yuk and trying to stand on my knee and lick my face. Strange child. DD1 is 4 in early October and she wants a party as softplay, I really need the kids to be better behaved/well/less climgy so I can get in and book it.MF aim 10th December 2020 :j:eek:MFW 2012 no86 OP 0/20000 -

Thank you all, things have settled down but I know I still had the BH all night as I have not slept properly. I ended up taking some paracetemol to try take the edge off the pain but it didn't make a lot of difference as usual...
It just got worse every time I lay down. I am taking it as a warning that she wants out since they are the most painful BH's have had so far and they weren't going away. What was worrying me was that they were about 3 mins apart and they did remind me of the contractions with my ds2. I am still getting BH's now but milder.
Haven't told OH yet that thought baby might be coming in the night but I can tell he has had an awful sleep too...he did this too with ds1 - he stayed up to watch Formula 1 til about 3am and he came up to bed and I was in the bathroom with my waters broken... so he got no sleep that night either. You think he would have learned by now.
Hope that you get some relief from the pain too Tigtag - I kinda know what that is like, I have a cyst on my shoulder which the Doctor offered to sort for me but I have just left it - it just looks like a red angry mark but I don't want it touched really. I have been told to treat it with heat but now I am tempted to see if the drawing paste from the pharmacy that Welshlassie mentioned would do it. Funny that we can get through childbirth pains but shy away from dealing with things like this!- another thing I haven't been for ever is a cervical smear! that really does scare me which is totally stupid!
Best wishes and labour vibes to those needing them stillBSC #215/No.1 Jan 09 Club0 -

Morning preggers ladies, maybe I should stop posting on here now I've had baby but doesn't feel like it yet as still without my bubs.
Reading back as had a very, very emotional day yesterday with hardly any sleep, without baby and I guess post baby blues. Just wanted to add re DH's, mine wasn't that supportive when I was ill with high b/p at home and still expected me to do this, that and the other. However since we've been in hospital (and during the birth) he has been so supportive and is the bubs main care giver as I can't do it. I guess they do really support you when need it.
Had a good nights kip and got some lovely photos with bubs, hope his blood sugars are stabilising and we can be a family soon - although not sure when that will be.
I know some said worry re birth plans etc, I guess my experience is possibly a worse case scenario and hasn't been good but I am just hoping that we will have baby at home with us soon and all be worth it.Thomas born 28/08/2010 weighing 5lbs and 4ounces, small but perfectly formed :j:j Now weighs 19lbs and 5 ounces

Don I don't think men ever learn lol If he is tired when it comes to it its his fault though. .
OH was home at 1pm yesterday so going to work wasn't too bad and when he got home he sorted all the weeding and mowed the lawns, something I'd been nagging about. I'm so happy now it doesn't look like I live in a jungle lol Some of the weeds had really shot up fast and he did a great job getting them out between the bricks in the driveway too. Such a shame he seems to have forgotten to wash up. He refuses to do it in the evening and says he'll do it in the morning which I hate, then sometimes he just leaves it. I don't do it because it only encourages him to forget more often, I do wish the kitchen had a space for a dishwasher as when there are 5 of us I do think it would be worth having one, but there is no space so he'll have to get on with it.
Wanted to get my MATB1 stamped at the docs today but DS is complaining he doesn't feel well so not sure about taking him for a walk if he is gonna be sick.0 -
Sir monster I hope little mans blood sugars sort themselves out soon. It must be really awful not to be with him. As for the tears I would be surprised if you didn't get some baby blues especially after everything, I think I cried constantly for 2 weeks after having DD, was just baby blues and mostly at night so no one really saw.0

Morning all
OH and me decided to have a bit of a freak out last night. He is a brilliant dad but doesn't deal with pregnancy to well, interested in scans but doesn't tend to feel bump too much, last time with ds2 it kicked in when i was really far on he looked through a boots catalogue and realised how much stuff we needed. Last night i was picking things up off the bedroom floor with my usual incontrollable groan every time i bent down and he realised that actually 5 and a bit weeks really isn't long! 2 hours later cue me 'oh my god i've got to give birth again soon and its REALLY sore, what if i need a section this time? what if labour is really long? what if i tear badly
I actually love labour and birth and i can't wait til its here but i think that my memory of ds2's birth is clearer as it was only 4.5 yrs ago whereas the gap between ds1 and 2 was over 7 yrs. my last birth was actually really easy 3hrs start to finish small tear only used gas and air but i just keep thinking what if?
But i do remember the contractions were sore (!) but luckily it progressed really quickly
I realise this rant is totally irrational and all will be fine and hopefully i'll get to the hospital on time (another worry) but in the back of my mind their is a slight panic and lots of people say that 3rd births are totally different
