Rach I didn't sleep all that well either, must be the stress. Took me a while to get to sleep, then woke up in the night with baby kicking me (which was a good thing in a way as know he is still very active!) and then woke up at 7ish with backache and couldn't have a lie in. Re your job I know it is hard not to stress but I think would raise your concerns with your line manager then try (is hard I know) to leave it in their hands as you have done all you can. Plus try to have an afternoon nap, they give me good energy!!
Tinks glad you are not in labour properly and hope you get better sense out of your consultant!
Re overdue bubs I think they can be of a similar size, as can baby's at 37 weeks - although mine seems to be growth !!!!!! - bless him . .
Just off back to hospital for repeat of doppler, not really sure what they will do with the result as he is on his way tomorrow . .Thomas born 28/08/2010 weighing 5lbs and 4ounces, small but perfectly formed :j:j Now weighs 19lbs and 5 ounces

On Frejas notes it says she is my 7th child.. she is my 9th.. and apparently I only had 3 m/c when I've had 7. It also says we are a 'married 2 parent family'.. hich amused me no end.

Morning all,
I am another one who had a bad nights sleep. Went to bed at 10 all prepared for a lovely long sleep, but instead had period like pains that wouldn't go away. They weren't exactly painful but annoying so couldn't get to sleep. Ended up getting up and bouncing on ball (which seems to be the only thing that works) until 2 this morning. Not happy chick today. So am at work very tired and grumpy - nothing new there then!
Bubs is super active again. Have spent the last 7 months with him being quiet(and me worrying), which I put down to my anterior placenta, but in the last week all I want is for him to go to sleep as he's driving me mad.
As for Health visitors, I am getting a home visit today. Got a letter on Sat, saying could she come round. I had just assumed that I meet them after the birth. But the letter says they like todo a home visit before baby is born. Does anyone know what exactly they do on this visit? Is it just to be nosy?0 -
I'm not surprised you slept badly, far too much to think about I am sure.sir_monster wrote: »Rach I didn't sleep all that well either, must be the stress. My HV for Lyla asked me what was being done about her talipes (she didn't have talipes she was just holding her foot in a weird way) and convinced me she had oral thrush which when i went to doc turned out to be milk!!!!!!I don't get nearly enough credit for not being a violent psychopath.0
