glad your little one is still staying put tink. You watch come december you will be going overdue and telling her to get a move on! Make sure you rest and take care of yourself.

I am starting to feel bigger now and still have pains in stomach when walking but guess thats just part of it as had them with last 2. Been practicing with my hypno birth cd's and hoping that it will work, even of only until the drugs arrive! Had a realisation that i really dont have that many weeks left to go and far too much to do in this time. I think i need to start writing lists and then actually getting on with things rather than looking at the lists too much!

Off to my sisters wedding sat so got night off from children as they are staying with nana and grandad for the night. Hoping new car makes it - should do after the amount of money we have spent on it in the past few weeks! Then need to sell old car as soon as we get back to replenish bank account before bills go out. Nothing like cutting it fine - no wonder i am a little stressed, but its all my own doing so shouldnt complain too much.

Sorry for long rant - will go back into lurking for now

Labour vibes to those that need them

Anyone who's had a baby that's gone overdue, how much did they weigh when they finally came out?

DS was 8 days over and weighed 8lb 6oz when he finally arrived so not massive, but big enough.

Oooh, that's what I was when I was born :D

Well DD1 was 7lbs 5oz and 4 days early, so a difference of 9 days, hopefully this one might be just over 8lbs ;)

DS was two weeks over and weighed 7lb 7oz this was after they had told me what a HUGE baby i was having!!!!

Re HV's my firsty was sooo insipid i was still in bed one morn when she came after bad night so DH told her my boobs were sore with the BF'ing, he said she went purple mutttered something about the midwife and ran out he door!!!!!

I had a friend who is a HV and i used to think how much i would have hated her to be mine she was in her early twenties, always with face full of make up, dressed up to nines, no kids of her own and a very very judgemental attitude, i can only imagine how the poor new mums, in their pj's hair and face a mess coping with new baby would feel having her looking down her nose at them!!!!!

My DD1 was induced at 42 weeks and was 10lb 2oz :D All my others were big for dates too though.

DD2 was 9 days over and was 9lb 8oz... DD1 was on time and was 8lb 15oz... I recon if DD2 had come on dates she would have weighed less...

I really hope I don't go overdue this time lol...

Incidentally, it's a really petty thing... But in my maternity notes, someone corrected the box where I put DD1 was born at 40+1 and they put 39+6... She definitely wasn't born 2 days before my due date so I don't know where they got that from... And I don't know why they changed it? It's really irritated me... Like I wouldn't know when my own daughter was born?!
A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...
Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.
