MLSL - i have my fingers crossed that its the special kind of diawoowoo you are having :rotfl: never thought in a million years that id be saying that to someone!
  • On everyone's advice I called and was told yes I should have had an appt this week, but MW has no availability, so to call over flow clinic. Called them, but after discussing they have said I can get a check up if I phone tomorrow morning or wait til the induction. BUT I must call them or go in if his movements slow down or any other problems, so far he is still star jumping, so not too worried, although might phone for an appt tomorrow, just to find out if anything is changing. If not am off to HSP on Friday.

Couldn't fit me in any earlier for section:( Got lots of info, my private room is booked and I have some lovely stuff to wash in and stick up my nose cos of MRSA!!

So in that week I have baby on the Tues, DS has hospital appointment on the weds and then he has 1st day at school on the thurs!!!!:eek::eek: Such great timing:(

Freebie: good luck for tomorrow :) can't wait to hear all about your baby :)

MLSL: I hope things are finally happening for you. I'm having 2nd sweep tomorrow but basically am preparing for induction Friday as I don't see anything happening sooner.

Pinkmex: most hospitals like to keep an eye on overdue ladies due to increased risk. I think your very patient turning down sweeps, I want this baby out!

Re: inductions... Does anyone know what I'll need, I presume all my labour stuff and baby stuff. Just stuff like a book, etc to pass time?

Hi everyone. Hope you've all had a reasonable day.

    Good luck for tomorrow FQ.

I've had a bit of an odd day today. Woke up with no sickness :j. Had breakfast. Still no sickness. Got in to work. Still nothing. Good sign thinks I. It must be because I'm 16 weeks.

Had a chat with the H+S person at work (he was lovely and very understanding) and now have my individual risk assessment, which says that I can lie down if I want to, and that if I'm ill or tiredI should go home (work will organise transport if necessary) and not come in to work if I feel ill. Sites I visit must have toilets and hand washing facilities, I'm not allowed to carry things or do much manual labour. It's all going to be reviewed every month. It all seemed very good to be honest, and I'm very pleased with it.

Then e-mailed admin to ask about my absences last week. I had at least a couple of hours each day off work with MS, so I wanted to know if I should do a form for each day or one to cover the whole lot. I got the reply that if it was only a couple of hours then why don't I make up the time rather than take it off sick! Even if I had wanted to make up the time, I was so tired by 4:30 each day that I couldn't do any more work. I emailed H+S bloke again and asked what I do about days when I can't get in due to MS and can't make up the hours due to tiredness. He told me that I must always work safely (for me and sprog) and that if I was too tired or sick to work safely then I musn't. :) Now have to tell admin that there's no way I can make up missed time due to MS (wish me luck).

Got one project in today. Hooray. Got to try and do another for friday. Booo. Supposed to be going to site on Friday, but may not be able to as they don't have toilets yet.

To top it all off, my friend gave me a lift home and I chucked about 2 miles from home. Luckily into a bucket that I'd borrowed from work. So that made him late home. He was lovely about the whole thing and very understanding, esp as his wife has had kids.

In fact, most of the menfolk at work who have kids are really quite understanding about everything.

Sorry for the long ramble. :o

Wow 2 more babies likely tomorrow, congrats girlies, hope you're having lovely mummy cuddles really soon.

Positive vibes for whatever anyone needs.

Well I'm settled in for the night. DS has been alseep in bed since 6pm - first time for months he's been asleep by this time. DH is out for the evening. I stuffed full of pasta. I'm about to go and reheat my heat pack and then settle down in front of the TV for BB final. Am wondering what I fancy to nibble on later in the evening so I can get it out now and not have to move?
