Sorry , I meant local as in Scotland not England , and was not implying by any stretch that that is the habits of Mothers from Scotland. (After all the person in question was American (and that is not the habit of American mothers either) .

Re-read the posts. The conversation on the go wasn't about errant NRP's but in fact PWC who give their children false hope and then you came in with your post.

I hope you don't give up, as you say, you are doing what you are doing for your children. Fingers crossed one day he'll have to face his responsibilities, whether he is on basic wage or income support, I hope he does.

wow that DUTR is still going on! Wow some people are really bitter to the core arent they!

I just want to say thank you to all of you who spoke up for the OP she will take great comfort in reading them, she is like a sister to me and I know what a fantastic mother she is, raising her 3 young children on her own, without any family to turn to for help. She came on here for advise and to talk with people in the same situation and she in no way deserved to be judged by some the way she was in what was a very bad day for her and then her very first post on this website is from an entirely bitter and twisted creature so wrapped up with rage about his own experience he comes on here and gets great pleasure in stalking this thread the whole live long day waiting for the next victim to insult and belittle with his smug smilies.

You may sit there behind your computer coming out with your smug lines and making out your 'telling the other side of the story' but its obvious to all you have serious issues! Im sure you'll come back with some witty reply but deep down, behind the smug posts and insults there is a very very bitter man who just cant come to terms with his own situation! If you werent bothered about it you wouldnt be sat on here all day harassing and insulting women asking for help and advice!
