Er, no, I'm not pointing the finger at anyone. If I thought DUTR was like my dad I'd come out and say it.

Flirty PMs?! No thank you! I was just giving my point of view and trying to be understanding and show some empathy to the OP! Think I better skulk away before it gets too heated on here!!

Obviously I haven't read DUTR's other posts. Blimey, are forums full of some nutcases!! :)

Are you comparing DUTR with your plausible oscar winning material father?

If so then I would have to agree, when he oversteps the mark DUTR goes on the charm offensive but I'm the "fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on me" school of thought.

He's fooled me twice and that's all the chances he gets from me (okay if after a few months of posting it becomes obvious that he no longer makes nasty comments to female PWCs for no reason - then I might reconsider :p)

Watch out for friendly, turning into flirty, PMs from him LouLou ;)

Soub' my replies will be in response to a post.
Lets look at it another way, you 'hate' me so you are suggesting others do?
I have never said I dislike PWCs or like NRPs due to their role on the forum.
Sometimes it is clear on this forum that as long as a bloke rolls over and takes all the crap that makes em a good bloke.
Let me assume you are of similar age to me, you and others will know a woman has to be really bad for a bloke to leave and especially if they have children together.

It seems that none of you can dislike me for not contributing (cos I do) , you can dislike me for not having contact (but then that is not law) :rotfl:

Well I'm off to visit my Mum then my Dad

That may be true for you and lots of other good men (and women!) but you can't apply that to all men of your age group. There are plenty of people who apply consumerist principles to relationships, meaning if its not working this month, its a bit hard, I don't "feel in love" then I just get another one.
Please do not confuse me with other gratefulsforhelp. x

Well, in that case just read them and make up your own mind about him :)

I get the feeling you think I was calling you a nutcase!! I think you're reading my posts completely wrongly here (?).

I can only assume as this subject is so emotive people are either super-sensitive or intent on fighting amongst each other, neither of which I'm online for. I came to support the original OP, not interested in internet mudslinging at strangers. (Goes away completely baffled about some people)..

PS: I'm glad to say I have no PMs.

Don't worry Lou, you won't be getting any flirty (as soub puts it) PMs, yes you are correct in your view of the forum, there was a poster zara who prolly also hated me , but as you were make your own mind up on folk on here from what you read not the bias of other posters. At the end of the day everybody gets support, and those that really want independant advice seeks it from a professional body like nacsa or a solicitor and perhaps that is where the OP should seek the best advice :j

To Soubrette: Like I said, I assume people are friendly and have good intentions unless they prove otherwise, so I'll assume it was said in jest as things can so easily escalate.

It's incredibly disrepectful to the OP, a person who is in pain crying out for help.

Let's concentrate on the original subject and don't make assumptions about a stranger who is showing a little sympathy. Thank you :)

To DUTR: I am on no-one's side, I can judge people myself, as I do in "real life" and don't listen to the "gang". I wish more people were like that!

I know that and the forum could do with many more members that share your rational.
I know I'm not popular on this forum, but I did not sign up to gain popularity.
The OP is in need perhaps, but strangers telling her there is a definate pot of gold at the end of the rainbow is not necessarily the truth.

    No not at all :)

I thought originally you were saying that DUTR was false which I agree with - but then you were saying you weren't saying that, which was fine, so I was saying(as I'd obviously misunderstood), don't take my word for it, just read his posts and make up your own mind.

Don't tell anyone but I don't even mind if you don't agree with me ;)

The only thing I mind is when people asking for help are belittled and have their motives questioned in a deliberately cruel way when there is no need for this kind of petty meanness.
