Hi, Can Anyone Help? Ive won a comp on fb and twitter but didnt keep my reciept and dont want to win the prize anyway? :D

You've lost me there ClosingTime - how do you want help?

Some very good points that you have made.
I like twitter :). I have won the following on twitter this year so do think it's worthwhile: 48 box of walkers crisps, recipe book, books x 12, 2 lush christmas boxes, Nokia X6, walking boots, ipod shuffle, DKNY perfume, nail varnish, DVD, CD x 3, crate of drinks, dorset cereal, CK perfume, £100 H&M voucher... so not all of it is tat :p

Wow - well done Blackmidnight. I quite like Twitter. I have won quite a few small prizes on Twitter, (choccies, DVD's and CD's etc.) but nothing major. I once won a cover of "Cherrybomb" signed by Rupert Grinch. I would have thought that coming from a big company like Play.com, it would have had the DVD inside, but no, just a signed paper cover :rotfl:
I find that Twitter comps are easy to enter, so that I can do them anywhere, such as during my lunchbreak at work, where I don't need to have my passwords etc.

    Hi

I've noticed velvetglove hasn't been online since 13th Oct
as BG's can't edit other members posts, does anyone have contact with velvetglove so I can discuss any changes to the comping guide :)

    thanks toniq

and I am looking at the other stickies but might take a few days to catch up with the other bg's :)

(in the Arms I have a sticky called 'PLEASE READ - posts by Martin and the MSE team') if a member of the team posts a new sticky I leave it as a standalone for a while and then merge it into this thread, to keep down the number of stickies, maybe a similar idea could work on the Comps board

Kipper was a little before my time but her reputation & legacy will endure.I hope that she is well & still watching over us all.I imagine she did not envisage the way that this board would grow to what it has ,after her input in the early days.
Don't forget that there are still lots of nice people on here:D

Kipper was still around for a good while after your join date, but maybe you weren't comping then? I often wonder what happened to her....

that sounds really useful Glad, thank you for looking into these.
My light may be on, but that doesn't always mean I am looking at the PC - I am far more likely to be cuddling or feeding Tianna atm, so please don't think I am ignoring you if I don't reply quickly :)

Our Precious Baby Tianna has now joined our Family, she is much loved and very welcome, xxx

Do you use FireFox or IE?
In Firefox just click "Bookmarks" & then "Bookmark this Page".
In IE just add to favourites.
