Can anyone get any of the caravan magazine comps (example) to work? I can't find any even when I go direct from the homepage, so maybe they've all ended a bit early. Thanks

They have all been removed from the site. I have no idea why.

My OH does competitions and she has told me clicking on competition links from this site could be traced back to here. I have googled it and searched on here and the only thread I can find is an old gambling one, and what they suggest doesn't seem to work.
If it is true what is the best way to get round it?

I doubt very much that it can, as many many of us have posted links in the past, and thousands have won from our links, just take a little lookie at the I won I won I won thread to see what I mean.

It is possible for the sites to monitor where their traffic is referred from but I do not see it as such a great problem.A lot of the big comps are independently checked by outside bodies to ensure a fair draw takes place.
If you are really concerned I suggest browsing via FireFox with AdBlock Plus installed.This will prevent the site seeing where the traffic originates from ie here.
You could also just copy/paste the comp link in a new tab rather than just clicking on it.
