I am new to this forum, is there anywhere I can find previous numbers for the above competitiion?

If you search the forums for " Newspaper Summary", you will find all the previous daily newspaper info. A new thread is started each day in the Discount Codes &Vouchers forum.

numbers so far are 11, 13, 36, 68, 70, 75, 90 and 97. Hope this helps.

Question: Given the problems that ITV had some time ago when they were selecting a "winner" from "phone in" competition entries prior to the end of the competition - why is it that even now within the rules the wording is such that "entries received after the closing date will not be entered but may be charged." -??

What they really mean is they will be charged - why do they keep the lines open after the competition closing date ?- simples - they hope to gain some extra revenue from the public even when they know full well their entry will be void - just another con for which they have had to state in the t's & c's to cover themselves

A bit quick to the moral high horse... no?

This is to cover them just in case the lines are not deactivated at the designated time, or that your provider charges you to listen to a message to say that the line is closed. Nothing more sinister - Oftel keeps competition phone lines on a tight leash.
