I'm hoping this is the right place, it does involve money, promise

In the last 2 months my OH has spent £170 on a certain adult website. It's the type with escorts, webcams, phone chat etc.

To say I'm livid is an understatement.

To view 'private galleries' you have to buy credits - 1 credit = £1.

Now, I know he watches p0rn and I have no problems with that. What I have a problem with is the fact he's spent so much on what can be free.

There's also the fact that these girls are not 'p0rnstars' but real women, some only in the next town (or so it says) - I hope that makes sense.

He has a 'hot list' too - no surprise that they all have large busoms.

I'm really hurt. It seems so much worse than 'regular' p0rn.

He's hasn't arranged meets but is watching/looking/etc as far as I can tell.

I have and haven't. I'm full of rage so it's best if I keep my mouth shut for now - I've already called him a Peter Crouch in the making

Oh, I would be very hurt by this. Then again though, I know my bf looks at !!!!!!. I try to be fine about it but my own insecurities, let it upset me. I can't help it, makes me feel like I am not good enough. I know that men are supposed to be turned on by more 'visual' stuff but still, I don't like it that much .

Spending £170 :eek: on it and women who are close by even ,would take it to another level for me. Has he tried to hide it from you at all? Can he afford it? Have you spoken to him about it yet?

OK, it isn't going to change things but some info that may help - these are not girl next door types/ 'real women', they are professionals. Chances are that those who advertise as being close by could be at the other side of the country, they just cover a wide area. My ex (male) partner advertises on the site, and knows many of the women on there.

I can see why you are so hurt. You are clearly openminded enough not to object to !!!!!! per se, but to spend money looking at it does take it to another level. I would also be concerned that the site is primarily to advertise escorts, could this be something that he is considering, or maybe he is just curious?

When I 'found out' (his error) I didn't really think much of it. I did confront him and he said he couldn't remember when he last went on it.

Cue the next day, me at work and my curious mind. He has the same username and password for everything so I took a chance. That's when it all became clear.

He'd spent £10 the previous morning - so much for his memory!

I've explained that he may as well be walking down the road and ogling over every woman he sees right in front of me and giving them a quid for the privilege.

Am I over reacting? It feels like he's paying for prostitutes.

I believe he's only on there to look, there hasn't been any contact and he's just purchasing credits to see their private galleries.

It's a bloody massive kick in the balls really.

I couldn't give or do anymore for him in that department and he still feels the need to pay for his kicks = confidence shattered.
