If you are on an ADSL Max package, you will have to wait for it to stabilise.

Well....my impression of Freeola...... absolutely useless. They should have connected me last wednesday (8 days ago). Ever since they've been blaming BT. Yesterday they offered me free dial up (whish is the slowest dial up I've ever used). Yetsrday they emailed me saying that my phone line was engaged (I wonder why?? That's why I gave them my monbile number) and that it's now looking like my router.....

This morning I received a letter saying that I hope the service is satisfactory!

Can any techies advise? I have a Netgear Wireless Router. The internet light flashes amber for a while, then turns solid green, the connection status shows "success", then the light goes out as though the connection just drops. Freeola did tell me that it was an IP fault on BTs network but they are now asking me to try a different router but I don't have one....

So...over a week now and still no connection! I upgraded the router this morning and it still doesn't work. They're now saying it might be the microfilter!

Maybe I should have gone with Tiscali!
  • Hi
Your isp are saying everything via them and BT are fine, so lets have a look at your setup
1.When your router is plugged into the pc, is their a light on your ethernet card? to show its working, I'm asking this because mine went the other week and I thought it was my router but it was the card.
2 Are you using an extension? and if you are, how is that setup
3.Can you plug your router directly into your test socket on your master socket, this is the best way to test for connection/speed problems.
