Just wanted to say that Tiscali are not helpful in a crisis, I have had numerous problems and in the last month have had no internet connection for 12 days.0

I don't need a router either. I have a wireless router0

Hi
Never Tiscal/Toucan, and they are Not "Unlimited", they have a Fair Use Policy, just have a look at their forum on the adslguide, and apparently now they have stopped issuing MAC's, so you can't migrate.

Have a look at Freeola as they are a Entanet reseller, go and look at the Entanet forum, to see what their users are saying.

After the 3 months though, their price looks like £20+ per month0 -

Yes, but its a trial, after the 3mths you could migrate for free to someone else, if you like.
I believe there's only AOL that are truly unlimited ADSL, who have a 12mth contract.0 -
Nope Zen do it as well on there old packages and on there office package they still do it but its costly.0
-
And they use a totally useless expensive indian call centre for any problemstravelover0

I'm not too worried about a fair use policy as the only reason for going unlimited is that I don't know what my true usage is...0

Just a quickie reply, I signed upto TalkTalk (so far no problems !) and had to get a MAC code from Tiscali yesterday and, despite what it says in an earlier post I had no trouble in getting it from Tisacli - it was delivered by email later in the day. The only thing I would say that their call-centre seems to be in India and you can make your own judgement as to how good a service you'd get if you really did have a significant technical problem - thankfully I never had one but my dad did and I know how frustrating he found it !Started the new centuary £18,000 in debt : July 2008 we're now DEBT FREE (apart from the mortgage!) :j
2011 Update: Taken a car on finance - first serious credit commitment in a long time but as were more financially secure than in the past it was a calculated risk - 4 years and counting !
