£12.99 for unlimited access plus free weekend calls sounds like a pretty good deal to me.
Any thoughts?

Yes dont do it.
Its not unlimited as they restrict access to p2p for example makeing it sound much better then it really is.
Thats if you can even get a half decent speed out of there service and there a pain to leave.0 -
p2p?
What are the alternatives?0 -
It depends on your needs.
So what are your needs :rolleyes:0 -
I can only get 1Mb anyway and limited to who I can go with bevause of my rural location. I prefer unlimited purely because I don't know how much I use.
Free calls are a luxury that I don't really need so I only see them as a sweetner.
The Tiscali deal did look attractive but I have heard complains0 -
I spend a few extra quid and go for aol if your on a budget.

It is not necessary to use their software!

I gave Tiscali 3 months to sort out what they called a minor fault, 33 phone calls and two new modems later they wanted to blame my telephone line..................... That was a mistake they would regret. I cancelled my account on the grounds of poor quality service and signed up with madasafish.com 6 months at £10.99 and 6 months at £16.99 Average £13.99
Excellent service couldn't ask for better. There is even a customer services advisor on this forum who has sorted out any niggles placed on the thread.......................... BARGAIN IMO;) :T

Well if you connect using the free router provided, there is no need to pollute your PC with any AOL software.
