Its vegemite for me, never tried anythinge else, will always stick with vegemite. Was over the moon when tesco and morrisons started selling it as my mum used to have to post it to me.
She just sent me a box full of australian goodies. I was in my element this morning, vegemite on toast and a hot milo, it was like i was back in Australia.Mummy to two girls: October 2013 and February 20160 -

Try marmite - it's a million times better than vegemite (which is utterly, utterly disgusting). You can buy Milo in the UK. It would save your mum a fortune in postage

I asked my veggie ds what he thought about it and he said "It's ok I suppose" Is he the only person in the world who is indifferent ?
Apparantly marmite is good for menopausal women. So maybe that was why I was craving it, in fact I am going to have some now.[/quote]

My OH adores marmite on toast with either marmalade or jam ......
He'd put the tub on its side the other day and I walked in to find my 5 yr old with it all over his fingers and round his mouth - he also adores it :-)Sealed pot challenge 822

A medium sized jar only lasts us about a week, we are obsessed with the stuff! I make drinks out of it like others do with Bovril, and make Marmite pastry strips, which are a little like twiglets.
