Marmite has a lot of B vitamins, from the yeast.

I feel it is my duty to inform you that Marmite   is an invention of the Devil and should only be used as a punishment when all else has failed :D

If that was the only food on earth I wouldn't need to be on the LW9 thread :rotfl:
For shame! Marmite is the very nectar of the Gods! It is a divine food stuff and to be much applauded.:T

Now parsnips are a different matter...."bewhere of the white carrot, for it is the devil incarnate of vegetables"...:D

    MARMITE definately

And my all time sandwich is marmite cheese and cucumber on wholemeal!

oooh yum. i so agree, the contrast between the cool wet crisp cucumber, the sharpness of the marmite and the mouth feel of the cheese. and yes, it has to be wholemeal.

    try it :T

Love both - although I think bovril is just yeast extract these days (could be wrong).

Parsnips on the other hand - EVIL:eek:

I got a nice surprise the other day when it was pointed out to me that Bovril is veggie now so I can eat it... however I just looked at their website (sad I know!) and have found out that it won't be for much longer..
