So sorry this little fella is missing. Have you tried adding it to Facebook too, you know how quick gossip spread there, so info on this little guy should spread too. Ask all the facebook friends in your area and beyond to add it to their "walls" too.
Hope he turns up soon.**This space is available to rent**0 -

You and my Mum are the same breed then:p
If you are not already on there, then it may not be that good a suggestion, but anything is worth a shot.
If you go to www.facebook.com and follow the sign up instructions.
Then you can add "friends" from your email address book (it will give you an option for this during the sign up)
Once you are a member, you can upload pictures of Pup (sorry, don't know his name, so will say Pup, as even at 12 years old, I still tend to call my old dog "Pup")
Paste these pictures on your friends walls, with a note attached giving details of when and where he was lost.
It will also allow you to join sites local to you (When you are "in" type your town/citys name, and it will often bring up a "page" for you town, which you "join" or "like" depending on how it's set up) then you can post pictures of Pup on their "Wall"
Think that's covered it, I will re-read and edit if necessary.**This space is available to rent**0 -
Also, is there a sub-section of this site local to your area?
If so, may be worth a post in there.
And a notice in places like your local papershop, supermarket, pub and post office (if you still have a post office) and perhaps a story in your local paper, phone them and mention your Dads age, and how terribly your Dad in particular misses Pup, anything you think that can jerk the heartstrings, the more places Pup gets mentioned, the more chance of finding even one person that may have spotted him.**This space is available to rent**0 -
Do you have local radio?0

Am so sorry this little fella is lost. I'd suggest contacting all your local vets and some in the next town along too, as well as notifying the dog warden and rescue kennels incase it turns up there.
I hope you get him back soon0 -
Thanks for all your support it's good to know everyone is out there looking for him.
I have contacted dog wardens, vets, councils rescue centres, posted notices in shops on lamp posts and super markets.
My local radio station is Heart FM , unfortunately they have refused to make any appeals from their station, despite explainingthat the dog belongs to my 81 year old father and 85 year old mother and his disappearence is having a detrimental affect on their health.
Appartently they do not make announcements regarding lost pets. I will try to contact other stations who may be more helpful and let you know how I get on.
I will now try facebook can I put more pictures of him on there?
I am getting really worried now as someone must knowwhere he is. He is such a friendly little dog that I can understand why someone would want him but I really need to get him back.0 -
It may also be worth going down the old fashioned line of making posters to stick to lamp-posts and trees, especially in parks etc where dog lovers walk their four legged friends.**This space is available to rent**0
