My cat Margaret ran away for just over 6 weeks, i was gutted she just turned up one day, skinny as a whippet and full of fleas but apart from that she was fine.
Do you have kids living near you, they are fab at helping with lost pets try and ask a few when they are going past your house and show them the pictures.

Hi everyone, my cat still isn't home. We miss him so much and we have literally done everything to try and get him back. We're now getting nightly prank phonecalls from kids saying they're holding our cat hostage, maybe they're not so helpful afterall :'(

We really are heartbroken. I have been putting off phoning the council to see if they've picked up a dead cat matching my description but I think I should probably phone them and check tomorrow. None of the vets in the area have seen him but one told us they can travel up to 7 miles (!!) if they smell a female cat. I just don't get why he'd run away but I guess thats cats for you.

Every night I come home hoping he'll be sat there waiting to be let in but so far we have had nothing.

We did have a really helpful man though on Sunday that saw a cat that matched his description, he kept him in the kitchen for us then sent us a picture message of the kitty he'd caught. I cried my eyes out when it wasn't him but I really really appreciated the mans efforts all the same- good to know some people have taken notice and aren't just taking the p*ss.

I just wanted to say thank you to everybody on this thread for your sympathy and tips to try and find him we have all really appreciated it and the time out that you've taken to help us.

Finally, we're still not giving up on finding him, we're just a little bit less confident now. I'll keep you all updated xx

I dont know if this can be posted here but am desperate for help.

On Sunday10th October our dog escaped fromthe garden in WV10 area near Cannock. He is my 81 year old fathers dog and he is devastated as we all are and miss him terribly.

He is a smooth coated Fox Terrier male around 4 years old ( he looks like a big Jack Russell and people who have seen him when we have been out on walks often think he is a Parsons Terrier).

He is mainly white with brown ears and the left half of his face is Brown and he has a brown patch on his back.

I am posting on here in the hope that some one may have seen him or know where he is. He was wearing a brown webbing collar but no ID tag as my daughter had just taken his normal collar with the tag off and put the web collar on as she was going to bath him, but he is micro chipped. The Chip company have been notified, I have contacted all the local rescue centres and vets, advertised in the local papers and posted notices in shops and in the street in an attempt to find him.

I am asking for help as he may be out of the local area and if he has been taken in the person may not realise that he has a loving home and a family who are distraught.

We are desperate to get him back and would be grateful if anyone sees him or knows some one who has a dog like this to contact me. He could be anywhere. Any information will be treated inthe strictest confidence, I just want him home, as we all miss him so much.

Please please help. Thank you for reading this.

Frog has given you doglost. They will let you add the details and his photo to the website which is VERY active and then people will be able to download his photo as a poster to stick up in their area.

I do hope you find him soon. Ring dog wardens in all neighbouring areas, even 20 miles away.
