[circumstances in which he went missing]
[reward if any]
[contact details]0 -
for example the circumstances where that he was let out and 5 hours later they realised he was missing what do you say to that? ( on the poster i mean)0
-
I don't think you have to go into a lot of detail:
[dog'sname] went missing between 10am and 5pm on Tuesday 10th August 2010 in the [area].
Or you could just use this missing poster generator: http://www.amissingpet.co.uk/poster.html0 -
ahh thanks

Hope you find the dog0

Go to Dog lost ( http://www.doglost.co.uk/ ) they may have helpers in your area who will help look for the dog.

has your friend rung around local vets, the council pound, the dog warden etc? What matters most is how well you walk through the fire0
-
Post on DogLost and ring the dog warden - and if the dog warden says s/he hasnt had the dog, take a ride to the pound anyway and check - often dogs get misrecorded and are there after all - remember, if the dog is in the pound, after seven days it can be rehomed with someone else or put to sleep - so speed is of the essence.
Tell them to ring the chip company and update the details.0 -
Yes, go to the Doglost site, they will prepare a poster for you and contact members in the area to print and stick them up. And as fc says, check the pound, they get the sex and breed wrong sometimes. You also better give the microchip details as otherwise the warden will be saying the owner cant be traced and then its 7 days for pts.
Having said that, if they havent the nous to realise their dog is missing, dont know his breed and havent bothered to check out pounds/ vets themselves ................0 -
