Tried preloved lost and found , but still no trace of Foxy, nothing from yesterdays radio appeal.

My only hope is to get as many people as possible to post him on Facebook, the more publicity the more chance of finding him. Could I please ask all MSE members who read this post to please post him on facebook with a picture if possible. A dog in Ireland which went missing was fould after thousands of people posted him on facebook and I am hoping that the people here can do the same for me. Please ask all your friends on facebook to post him as well this may be my only hope of getting him back.

I'd scour all the small ads for dogs for sale etc, he may have been found and is being advertised in the wrong places.

I also know its not a nice thing to hear, but have you contacted the local councils refuse collection team? I know that if a cat is knocked over, the bin men collect the bodies so might be worth a ring to check that they havent found any dogs. Not all people will bother to report hitting a dog to the relevant authorites, sadly.

hope he turns up alive and well. hes probably curled up by some old dears fireplace.

PS. have you posted a free ad on gumtree, they have a lost and found section also

I've got a friend to post it on her facebook too she's in a different part of the country to me but she left a message on my facebook so I'll post it here

Oh no!! I hope Foxy is found safe & well soon.. Where else have you put about him? Can you ask the local paper to run a story, and get his picture out there? Also posting on doggy sites help, as other dog owners pass the info on.. try Pet Forum, they have a missing dog section. x

^^ That was me. I have put Foxy on my Facebook page, and asked all my friends to do the same - it's a small world, and it's amazing how things find their way to the right peopleon the internet!

My dog has her own facebook page:o with over 300 doggy friends so I will put it there.. it will get sent round hundreds that way as we are all dog lovers.

If you like, I can set up a facebook group dedicated to finding foxy, which will be easier for people to view/send round?

I know how devestated I would be if Ella went missing, so anything I can do....

Am just setting up a group page on FB, but they have changed the formatting, and it's not playing ball atm, but I will get it up and post the link here for everyone to share

Kay has done a legger a few times on us we've been driving around asking people if they have seen her. She was in town shopping in Peacocks lol!

Ruby goes for a run in Heaton Park on her own and comes and finds me when she's ready. She isn't any harm to anyone but she enjoys chasing squirrles lol

I know how devastated I've been when they've gone I wouldn't wish it on anyone.
