This was going up to £78.50 from 22nd June.
Phoned cancellations where he said sorry to hear you are leaving see if I can do anything, he offered me 40% off which would be £54.74 a month. Said no and gave 31 days.
Just logged on to my sky app and it offers me 35% off for 12 months, then logged onto my sky.com on the laptop to be offered 50% off for 12 months...
Am going to sit and wait for a couple of weeks..
As others have said, the best available at this time appears to be 50% off your tv deal & £50 credit. (On a rolling contract / no tie-in)
Last year it was possible to get 60% off & £100 credit, but not now!
If you get offered the above, I would take it, as it may even get withdrawn!0 -

Are you sure?
Just because Sky is in my partners name and we've cancelled and our last day with them is in June
I've already signed up in my name as a new customer and they've given me a go-live date, no questions asked (so far that is!)0 -

The contract in your wife's name is for your whole household.
Whether you get away with it is another matter entirely.
Do you have the same surname as your wife?0 -

I read the T&C's before I signed up at it said a new customer is someone who has not had Sky in their name for the previous 12 months, which I haven't.
It didn't say anything about the address that I could see
We are not married, so different surnames0 -

I just telephoned them to ask and the lady I spoke to said I am classed as a new customer if I have not had a sky account in my name in the last 12 months.
She said the contract is with the individual who's name the account is in0 -
Well , in that case, nothing to stop you signing up as a new customer every year forever then.
Next year, your partner will be again eligible for new customer deals and equipment!
Could prove expensive for Sky once it becomes known that it is now allowed, apparently...0 -
