Movies in HD free ie no extra above the Movies Cost. in HD FYI if you have Original and Movies then you wil get Movies for £18 and if you downgrade to Original after 1st of June OR you go onto a 12m min term and then downgrade to Original plus Sports/Movies then Original will be price frozen @ £20 for 12m.

I am on Variety, sports and movies SD for £33.77(50% discount on price) i got it last October after i put in 30 day notice.
The Sky service bloke came yesterday and he said he would check the dish 1st, i said ok. I heard drilling for a few secs and then 10 mins later he knocked at the door and came into check the box and said the dish/lnb had been knocked and he replaced the lnb and realigned the dish.
This morning go to my car i noticed brick dust on the floor so i looked at the dish and seemed the same one and thought why was he drilling. 1 foot from the floor i saw a hole in the brickwork and a grey plug in the whole. He must o drilled it to tie his ladder to it but never told me.
Is this what Sky people do now because of H & S???

They have done for ages. My last dish install was over 2 years ago and they did this.
However the installer spoke to me fist before drilling into the house!

I think that`s totally unacceptable, I wouldn`t be happy with that and would be taking it further TBH.
Any time I need a new dish I do it myself, u get the whole kit - Dish, lnbs, brackets etc for around £20 from e-bay, its quite simple really. Hopefully this saves somebody else some time and money.

    Cheers.

this made be laugh so hard, went back on the sky chat to see what else they can do in terms of sky multiroo and this is what i got -

"i can clearly see that you have been offered 50% a month 12 months TV Offer and we can't apply 50% 12 months discount codes again in your account and all I can see is 35% 12 months TV Offer is the only offer listed on your account.

However if you ready to reinstate services with us now then this is the last time, we will be able to apply the offer and discounted codes for 50% 12 months TV Offer without any other TV Offer and trust me on it, after that you won't get more than 35% as your account exhausted the discount and offer codes for Maximum times. "

I have bt sport + HD through my sky box, currently on a small discount paying £17.50 per month.

Called 5 minutes ago to cancel pleading poverty, when they asked me what sport i watched, i listed 3 sports that only sky show. He did waffle on a bit, but the offer followed after about 1 minute (always seems much longer when all your want is the bloody offer)

Anyway, latest deal is £10.99 per month, free HD for 3 months, then £5.00 per month so paying less than i do now even when i am charged HD full price. Think their full price for BT + HD via sky box is over £26.00 when their latest increase takes effect.

On my 7th year of half price sky, and they gave me broadband free last year (with a $50 credit) when i asked for my MAC code to go to BT.

Hi, I'm thinking of ditching BT & going to SSE for free fibre optic broadband and thought I'd have to pay full price for BT Sport - £26.99/mth in HD!

[Despite that it would still be cheaper than BT despite their personalised offer.]

How did you get the lower price for BT Sport on Sky in the first place? New customer offer or just phone and haggle?

i was already on a deal, which was £17.50 for bt sport + hd.

Phoned up to cancel, saying that even that price which was coming to an end was too high.

Said i had to make a choice between keeping sky or bt and had chosen to keep sky.

He then offered the £10.99 and free hd for 3 months ,£5 thereafter.

You're kinda !!!!ed on that now that you renewed your TV contract. You should have taken the cheap broadband offer when you canacelled TV where they try to keep you with at least free broadband and £17.40 line rental.

Actually better off. We wanted to upgrade to fibre and Sky could not offer us any deals as we're existing customers. Have now signed up to BT who are giving us half price unlimited fibre for a year on a year contract with potentially higher speeds. Also got a £125 pre-paid mastercard and another £40 card from BT also get weekend calls for same price as just line rental from sky.
    Sky's loss!
