Has anyone managed to get the 50% recently? My app only showing 35% and on interactive too. Was on chat trying to negotiate but he couldn't authorise the 35% discount said I had to call the number offered on the app to do so. Cancelled on Sunday so will end next month.
Try the website 'My Sky', sign in, and you might get 50% offer on first screen after sign in, which you can accept online. I got this and my app was only showing 35%.0 -
I have bt sport + HD through my sky box, currently on a small discount paying £17.50 per month.
Called 5 minutes ago to cancel pleading poverty, when they asked me what sport i watched, i listed 3 sports that only sky show. He did waffle on a bit, but the offer followed after about 1 minute (always seems much longer when all your want is the bloody offer)
Anyway, latest deal is £10.99 per month, free HD for 3 months, then £5.00 per month so paying less than i do now even when i am charged HD full price. Think their full price for BT + HD via sky box is over £26.00 when their latest increase takes effect.
On my 7th year of half price sky, and they gave me broadband free last year (with a $50 credit) when i asked for my MAC code to go to BT.0 -
I have been with Virginmedia for many years. I have TV M including a TiVo box which is "free" Broadband Superfibre 50 and phone talk unlimited this all comes to £40.48p including £17.99 line rental. I also have a Virgin pay as you go mobile. Is this a good deal or could I do better?

I gave my cancellation notice at beginning of the month. Noticed today that 50% offer was on the mysky website. Had an online chat and was offered 50% off full package, 50% off multiroom and £50 credit.
I refused just to see what else I can get .... hope that wasn't a greedy mistake!0 -

...based on others experience lately, that seems a pretty good deal. They don't normally offer a multiroom discount for a start.:)...and not many people seem to be reporting bigger % discounts as an active customer.0 -
I got to about 4 days before my sky was terminated and then managed to get The family pack, Sky sports and multiroom for £42.75 PM on a new 12 month contact. Considering I was paying £42 for the Variety package and HD. So I got what I wanted for less than I had hoped for.0

Sky called me today and offered me 50% my tv package. Only cancelled 4 days ago. They also offered me £50 credit which I happily accepted. Now just got to work on the phone and broadband/fibre.0

Cancelled my Sky via live chat yesterday. Was only offered 25% off for 9 months on a new 12 month contract, which I refused and they proceeded to cancel.
Within minutes there was a 35% off offer on Interactive and a 50% off offer on the iPad app. Went onto the sales Live Chat and asked if the 50% offer was the best they could do as it was still too expensive for me. Was immediately offered 50% off the full TV package for 12 months with a £50 credit. I said it was still too expensive, so they threw in 50% off multiscreen as well for 12 months.
Am really happy with this deal. The live chats were long winded, but in under 2 hours I managed to save a whopping £566 a year! :j0 -
