I cancelled 28th May - a week ago. Offer was there on the 29th May.If you call to cancel and get this 50% offer on your app the next day and accept, does everything carry on as it was? No new box or anything, just carry on using everything as it was?
Yes it does. You would need to negotiate a new box if that's what you want.0 -

Make sure you have marketing allowed in your preferences on My Sky account.0 -
When I originally cancelled the best offer I got via the Sky service App and a telephone call was 35% and they would not budge. I let the cancellation proceed and Sky service was cut off on Sunday. Just checked MySky and it's offering me 50% off any Tv bundle. The complete bundle deal is £38 a month for 12 months. This pretty good deal since my original discounted bundle was the same price but it was not HD sports and did not include movies at all! The only tricky bit is that I need the multi screen which is an extra £11.75 and you can't add that to the bundle online. Accordingly, will call them tomorrow and may try to get the multi screen discounted with the logic that the new price rise comes into effect in June.
The bottom line is that you need to cancel and if necessary go through with it. Going sky less for just a few days is a small price to pay for a decent saving0 -

They're doing a free 32" TV when you upgrade to multiroom at the moment too.

rang to cancel and got offered 40% off for 12 month, so I took it. Didn't seem worth the hassle of actually cancelling and hoping for 50% to come through just for the sake of a couple of quid a month.0

Just make sure the discount is for the full 12 months. Sky were doing discounts for only 10 months with a 12 months contract - I have no idea if that has changed recently or not.0 -
My offer has gone from 25% in my first phone call to 35% on the app the same day I gave notice to cancel. To get more do I have to phone again or will they increase it on the app if I wait. I've got until 7 June before cut off.
If I let it cancel will I lose all my recorded stuff on the box or will it reappear if I sign up again later?0 -

UPDATE. Just checked on Sky website instead of the app and they've now offered 50% - so I accepted it.
