We cancelled the Sky in my partners name and I've signed up as a new customer to get the full package inc sports and movies for £30 a month.
So far so good, they've been in touch with an installation date.
Reading the T&Cs it said a new customer is someone who has not been with Sky in the last 12 months, and I haven't0 -
They only offered me line rental for £14.99 now and have removed the 12 months free broadband offer it seems. Frustrating as I was paying £9.99 and free broadband. They admit it was a good offer and there is nothing like that now with wholesale price rises.0

My sky deal is due to run out and they've only offered 20 and 25% discount. How are you guys getting these offers on the Sky Service app? Presumably you have to give notice to cancel, once you've done that does the offer appear on the app's home screen or something?0

I'm puzzled by the Service App too.
Is it the same as 'Offers & Upgrades/Discover Your Offers' in My Sky on the website or is it something different?
I've just started haggling - thinking about 25% off offer. Do i have to give notice to leave to get better?0 -

Yep....You must cancel before you will get any decent offers. For me and a lot of others, we have got at least 50% off for TV after we had cancelled0 -

Did you get that in the app or from a call?0 -

Yes you actually have to cancel. When you open the app a screen with the offer pops up over the normal pages.0 -

My offer after cancelling appeared last year on the My Sky Home tab - this is different to the Offers & Upgrades tab. This is the link once logged in.

This year there is no offer showing in My Sky so far but I have had the offer of 50% off TV from the day after cancellation last Thursday.0 -
So did you get the 50% offer the day after telling them to cancel, or the day after it actually expired?
If you call to cancel and get this 50% offer on your app the next day and accept, does everything carry on as it was? No new box or anything, just carry on using everything as it was?0
