Well my notice is up no longer with sky now have Amazon Fire box with no monthly cost which is great. Even with 50% off I am saving £500 a year.
I urge you to check which channels you watch and I bet most are the free ones. So many other ways to watch tv now compared to when sky had monopoly on football.
Sky are doomed I believe let's see where they are in 5 years time.

    Thats a good deal mate!

Where on the website did you find this offer please?

It appeared on the first page I arrived at after signing in. I could accept my current package online (which I did) or specify a new one. It then said all would be confirmed within 3 days.

I've noticed my 50% offer also appears on Sky home page but after I've logged out for some odd reason whereas before it would be on the My Sky home page itself.

The offer was for 12 months - was there a 12 months contract with it or just a rolling 31 days?

Thinking of cancelling anyway - paying £40+ just for the tv bit on virgin, and all the stuff the wife watches is available on freeview! have told her we are switching over.

Finally got there. Just accepted 50% off family package, 35% off multiroom and HD. Plus unlimted std broadband free for 12 months. with £50 credit. Tv on rolling 31 day cancelation but broadband offer on 12 month contract. tv ended just over a week ago so new discounted prices included price increase.

    Thanks

When you say "signed in" Do you mean you went to sky.com and then MYSKY and then saw the offer?

It said (and it's still there):

Stay with Sky and get an exclusive 50% off any TV Bundle for 12 months. Redeem Online.

Yes I know the offer is 50% for 12 months. However what I was asking if it also tied you into a contract for 12 months. My present offer was 50% off for 12 months but I could have left at any time just by giving 31 days notice.

Hi guys there is a voucher code for new customers which gives you the full sky package for £30 inc movies sports and hd or £35 with one multi-room . It's a code through voucher codes. It's a saving of £50 quid a month. So if you can give in your notice and sign up under a different and slightly change your address format

Hi everyone - we are moving house and currently have Virgin in my partners name which has been increasing in price over the last 6 months. Are we best to completely start new when we move in my name to try and get new customer deals or should be try and haggle with virgin as part of the move?
