I will be most grateful if you could give your opinion on my sky package deal:

I pay £58.21 for variety tv with sports (sports costing £28.21)
    Sky Talk Line Rental £17.40
    Sky Talk Anytime Extra £8
    Broadband - Free

In your opinion, is it a good deal? Could I get any discounts on this?

    Thanks

Just look at the post previous to yours -IF you are out of min. term AND you are prepared to lose TV for a day or two, then you should be able to save ~ £30 pm on the cost of the TV package.
Don't SEEM to be any deals around on rental/calls -you would need to move to another supplier but would then lose the "free" broadband ....you would need to negotiate a rental/bband/calls package elsewhere and then get them to move you over.:)

Sky is in my name at our house. Does anyone know how long I need to be cancelled for before my wife can sign up for any offers?
  • Have just phoned Sky and given 31 days notice. Last year I had 60% off variety (not movies just sport) and 50% of multi room with a £50 credit so was paying £34.96 a month.
This was going up to £78.50 from 22nd June.

Phoned cancellations where he said sorry to hear you are leaving see if I can do anything, he offered me 40% off which would be £54.74 a month. Said no and gave 31 days.

Just logged on to my sky app and it offers me 35% off for 12 months, then logged onto my sky.com on the laptop to be offered 50% off for 12 months...

Am going to sit and wait for a couple of weeks..
