Before I cancelled both phone and live chat offered me the same 35% off for 9 months, reason given was that offer was on my file.

Cool, just spoke to live chat and they could only reduce my bill by £14 a month, not a huge saving so told them to jack it for now. I only have the HD package anyway at the moment for F1 so its really annoying when offers are about for the full package. Just live everyone else.

I just rang to sky as my previous offer ended this week and ongoing bills were coming to £86ish (Family + Movies, Broadband and Line rental) best they could offer was down to £68.49 keeping same package so gave in my notice to cancel the tv... not sure If i should have for broadband too! couldn't offer me any more discount than that!

I'm currently paying £85.83 a month with Virgin.

I told them I was going to cancel as the Sky offer works out much cheaper. Virgin offered me £57.99 to stay, I said I'd think about it.

It is worth trying to squeeze a bit more or does the board think this is the lowest they'll go?
  • Mines ended 2 days ago, the online offer is now 50% but no credit.
We'll leave it a while yet.

The recordings are still on the drive, just not accessible to a non-subscriber..

I thought so but when I rang to put in my 31 days notice today they said they are all deleted from your planner...
