    I was only offered 25% both on the chat and phone, only after I cancelled did I receive the 50% via my android app.

    OK, this is how it ended.

    On 31 day countdown to stop $ky TV after I was offered no discount.

    Offer via remote control 35% with a 9 month contract
    Offer via online account 35% with a 12 month contract
    Offer via iPad $ky app 50% with a 12 month contract although the terms and conditions only mentions 35%.

    I did an online chat and told them I have been offered 50% discount so he did it.

    $ky family bundle £18
    Sport and movies bundle £17.25
    Sport HD £5.25

    Total price £40.50. Post June 1st price £41.87 but because I moaned about the increase I got a £50 credit.

    sorry what do you mean by timescales?

    Those three offers were all available at the same time but each location had a different offer. It wasn't until I downloaded the $ky app tonight that I saw the 50% discount after reading about it here.

    My account was due to cancel on 24 April. The incoming calls from retentions started a week ago but it was the Friday before i could take the call.

    OK I understand. My contract was due to end on April 29th. I first contacted $ky on March 29th where I was offered no discount so I gave 31 days notice to quit.

    The following day I looked at my on-line account and it showed a 35% discount for 12 months if I stayed. This offer has never changed.

    Around 10 days later I looked for the first time at my account via the $ky box. This offer was the same 35% discount but only for 9 months. Again this offer has never changed.

    Yesterday for the first time I downloaded the $ky app where I was offered a 50% discount on a 12 month contract which I accepted.

    What I don't know is whether all three offers were available from day one.

    The extra bit was the £50 credit which didn't show on any offer.:D

    All this was done via the link on the on-line page via an online chat message service so I didn't actually speak to anyone. I had already written out what packages I wanted and just cut and pasted them into the the chat page so I didn't get anything wrong.

    I dropped $ky multiroom where no discount is offered in the T&C's. I was offered £50 credit if I kept it but I refused so it is gone. Also the HD part of $ky sports which is an extra £5.25 now and £6 from June 1st is also not discounted as per the T&C's so I am paying full price for that bit of $ky sports.

    I was offered the 50% discount on the app about 20 mins after phoning and cancelling. I've still 3 weeks to go on my cancellation period.
  • Have given my notice as they couldn't offer me anything decent. Cut off date is 9th May.
    Had a good result last year, but a bit concerned it won't happen this time by looking at people's results on here. Missed a call from them earlier so doing a bit of research as to what I can get before they call back. Currently have family with movies, BB and phone. Problem is I have 2 accounts with sky, which has caused endless problems/over charging.... My sky page never shows any deals, just says 'Unfortunately we are unable to show your exclusive offers available online. To continue or for more information, please call 08442 411 818.'
    So, my aim is for 50% off tv for 12 months, free BB for 12 months and at least £50 credit...Not very hopeful tho! I'm not great at haggling, but seeing what people on this forum manage to achieve really helped me last year and am going to try again this year!
  • I spent nearly 50 Minutes on the Phone with sky trying to get the price down on my Sky T.V, broadband and phone with 6-7 Weeks left on the contract. The best deal they can give me is only £3 short of what I'm paying now £115 to £112. I will have to think about cancelling all together or try again in a few weeks to get the best deal. I had mentioned to them that there was a fantastic deal with Virgin Media.
    I feel at the moment they want me to leave them, as I have been a loyal customer for over 7 Years.
    Where do I go from here all help would be grateful
