So I gave notice to cancel my Sky TV. I have the Family Bundle and was on 60% off. As this offer is coming to an end, I was offered 30% off for 5 years with no minimum term which I declined. Then I was offered a downgrade in package with 30% off and a 12 month minimum term. This too was declined.

The cancellation was processed and now my account is showing 35% off if I change my mind and come back with a 12 month minimum term.

Considering a 6 month entertainment pass from Now TV for £25.
  • We cancelled our TV four days ago & so far have no offers on our sky page that weren't there before.
A no offer stance from them is going to result in our cancellation going through as I'm not blinking first. I'm not going to carry on paying £40 a month for TV. There are more worthwhile things to spend money on.

I had nothing new in my offers for 10 days or so until I contacted them on live chat. Immediately an offer appeared. You have the right attitude. Whilst understandable, it is wrong that new customers get better deals than long-standing customers.

Took the bit between the teeth and just cancelled, either they come back with better offer or they don't. Now looking at Freesat as don't have terrestrial aerial.

Human make great freesat boxes that can be upgraded to allow streaming of recorded programs to other devices.

Looking at the Humax HDR 1100s 1TB at £219, will soon recoup the cost compared to Sky.

I logged into the app and immediately the offer for 50% off came up! i want to hold out for the additional £100 credit though :-)

Sky are ridiculous. I saw this 50% off on 31 March. I was told today that offer expired 2 weeks ago! Now they are only offering me 35% off plus on the spot offer of free broadband for 12 months.
QUIDCO £2827 paid out since October 2007:D
