Be cautious, I rang to cancel, accepted a 50% offer, added an additional multi room and when the email came through while I was still on the phone arranging the engineer, it was a 10 month offer only. I queried this and was told that if I rang at the end of 10 months it would be continued. I queried this as that would be unlikely and was told that this was the case or I could cancel...
I've emailed to query this and of course it isn't the case so I'm awaiting a review of the phone call as I was not told the truth.Piglet

Can i ask if that was online chat or phone call, there are many numbers and not sure which one to call for offers.
That one was via telephone, I wasn't even out of contract for broadband either. I asked about upgrades to fibre and said a mate got a deal like that, so they offered me the £7.50 unlimited fibre deal, I said no, they then offered £10 off line rental too, I said yes.
Managed to get £40 account credit too.0 -
Is the 60% offer on a contract?0

Thanks, thats sounds good but there is activation charge to upgrade adsl to fibre to consider, but i think all isp's charge that.:T0 -
Well I cancelled my contract yesterday after 10 years as they only offered me a £20 discount for 10 months (usual bill is £78 a year), my cut off date is the 6th December.
What are the chances of them calling me back offering me a better discount? Do not want to cancel as I need the broadband for work so hoping I do not have to call them with tail between my legs asking them to reverse the cancellation.
I do have an early termination fee for around £45 to pay as I still had one month left of my fibre and 2 months on multi-room...
This is the first time I have called their bluff and put the cancellation in as usually they offer me a reasonable discountIf the world is a stage... I want better lighting!0 -

Except for the one made at cancellation, my offers were by email.0
