I'm wondering do Sky have a time of month when it is better to haggle, do they have targets to reach for the end of the month? I've given up on the tv now but am going to try and haggle bb and phone with this new offer they have on for free bb.0

In addition to my new package Family Bundle, Phone Line and Broadband for £17.90. They have now sent me an email offering Multiscreen for half price, that means I'm back to my original position for £40 less a month.0

Update: Cancelled around 5th July, received a call from them today offering 50% for 10 months off main package but full price for HD and multiroom which I refused. I was then offered and accepted 50% off full package, HD & multiroom plus £50 credit for 10 months no contract. With the offer I already have with broadband & phone I will be paying £63.27 for the full package, HD, multiroom, anytime calls, broadband - not counting the £50 credit.
I'm happy enough and have added a note to calendar ready for haggling again next year.0 -
Cancelled and was told that I couldn't be offered a new deal as I was already on a 50% off package due to expire next month. However, if I didn't cancel I would be offered a new deal in a couple of days but he doubted it would be 50% off. So I cancelled. Lets wait and see if I'm offered a good deal.0

Same threat was given to me earlier this year. Amazingly as soon as my cancellation date came into effect, I managed to agree my 50% off renewal via talking to someone in India.
Just call their bluff.0 -

You mean you had no offers during the full 31 days notice, but the day after you were free from sky, you got the offer.:T0 -

Have followed advice on here and given 31 day notice on live chat. was offered £15.00 off £75.75 full tv package rejected. went to my sky 50% offer there straight away so went back on live chat and tried for more would not budge from £40.50 for 12 months so said i would wait to see if any better offers come.0

Has anyone had any luck with BT fibre broadband deals? They weren't interested in matching or beating any other offers when I phoned them0

Well, checked my Sky offers on the net and all that its saying is unable to show offers. However, have just checked my account through the tv and an offer of 35% off for 12 months is showing. Still not good enough so I may ring up in a couple of weeks to see what they will offer.0
