I've just been offered a lower package and 35% off no credit, which I have rejected and am on hold again.0

Hold your nerve...
I've been offered 50% and the 10/12 month option, I have said no but I have a very aggressive sales person the phone bordering on rude. I am keeping my cool at the moment and just repeating I want to cancel but am on hold again even though I have repeatedly said just cancel it please. Not enjoying speaking to this person.:(0 -
Well I am now on the cancelled list and waiting to see if another offer is given.0

...Your unpleasant experience :eek:is exactly why I used online chat for cancellation & renegotiation last October!0 -
I used live chats a day after sky tv stopped working and it took around 15mins to get that deal. Forgot to add I also got £50 credit added to my bill so I pay nothing for 2 months. I tried to get £100 credit as that seems to be the norm around here but the advisor wasn't budging over that. Well chuffed over all.
Ok thanks. So you cancelled it and let it stop completely. That is how you get the best offers. I have to contact them when I have 31 days left (this Tuesday) and I will cancel it.
My live chat just says busy each time I come back to the page. Do you have to wait on the contact us page for someone to activate live chat at Sky and if you don't respond they switch it back to busy ?0 -

If you have a message from Sky on your page and the live chat says busy, keep waiting as they know you have logged in and are waiting for them. Once they get to you they will apologise for keeping you waiting..
Most of the time though when you log on to your page, the live chat is available..
If you are just logging on to chat with them without a message you could be waiting hours..0 -
Hi all.
I've tried using Live Chat to cancel Sky, but each time they say "you will have to call on 03442 414141 and they will cancel the service for you" and "this is the Retention Team. You will have to call on the number above thats customer service & they will cancel it for you."
Any suggestions? Am I using the wrong Live Chat link? Should I just ask to cancel my "Sky TV" instead of my Sky (i.e. TV, broadband and phone)?
Thanks!0
