My sky offer is finishing now so I need to ring and arrange new deal or cancel and wait for offers. I have had 50% off full package for 3 years and won't settle for anything less, lol. I will phone or live chat tomorrow and post on here how it goes.

Dad cancelled his sky tv package on monday, around £85 a month he was paying ( inc BB )and has been with them 20 years, offered 20% off but said no, no offers online showing up.He wants to give it up anyway, but thought another offer would have come online.

Cancelled my £63.90 subscription last week, went on live chat today and I've resubscribe for 12 months at £17.90 only thing I removed was multiroom. Good result.

My 18 month 75% deal expires in August so rang up to cancel.

Was offered 50% off all TV (Family + Sports + Movies) + HD + line rental reduction (now £9.99/month) all for £55.49

This looks OK to me but it is only a 10 month 50% discount and a 12 month contract. So after 10 months the final 2 months cost about £104.

Is this a good deal ? Should I cancel and see what else they offer afterwards?

I would cancel, hold out for the 50% off along with 12 months contract.. You have the upper hand here as your deal is about to expire and Sky won't want to lose customers, so the ball is in your court..
    Hold your nerve...

Was this all on the first phone call or did you use live chat ?
And how long did it take to get this price ?
That looks like a good deal.

I used live chats a day after sky tv stopped working and it took around 15mins to get that deal. Forgot to add I also got £50 credit added to my bill so I pay nothing for 2 months. I tried to get £100 credit as that seems to be the norm around here but the advisor wasn't budging over that. Well chuffed over all.

On hold now did people wait to see what they offered or did you tell them you wanted 50% off and credit?
