I hope these good deals stand until my renewal time, later in the year, but suspect they may be due to competition from TalkTalk's current offer which ends soon.

I think I read 18th of June somewhere. Not sure though

Cancelled and got the offer on MySky page.
Quick live chat and ended up with 60% off bundle (inc movies/sports) and 50% off HD.

Sky actually have the perfect strategy - make each customer pay the most that they're happy to pay.
  • I left sky about 6 weeks ago and have received the 60% off and £100 credit letter. I'm tempted to go back but the broadband was awfully slow. Has anyone had any luck with fibre deals alongside the TV offer? :)
  • Me again!

My daughter has requested the new customer sky broadband code as she wants to sign up and pay for broadband as she's felt like she has a limb missing with no internet these past few weeks so this deal is perfect timing.

Can we both sign up separately so I hold and pay for the TV and she has the broadband contract?

This will be extremely money saving for us if we can. Nothing is this simple though so assuming not :)

Quick question. How long between cancellation did you get the 50% offer come up on your account? Literally a few minutes/hours?

    Cheers

    just a few hours

Mine took a week, was offered 60% off all TV packages and a £50 credit, also offered me 50% off broadband ie £3.50 but when I rang up tonight to say I was cancelling my broadband the guy new nothing about my TV offer but offered me broadband for £2.50, when I insisted I was going to go away and look at other broadband options one of which was with sky live chat as per the email he offered me free broadband! I now have unlimited broadband, unlimited calls and line rental for £21.77 a month and I'm waiting for a call back to put through the 60% off TV offer

Just got off live chat with Sky , offered me 60% off and £50 credit which i have accepted :)
  • Went on live chat this morning to negotiate my broadband and phone, quoted SSE's offer of Line rental for £12 and free broadband and was offered free broadband for 12 months and line rental for £9.99 for 10 months on a 12 month contract. Queried the extra £6.40 a month i'd be paying for the last 2 months and was given £13 credit so cant complain, All in all Sky family bundle with movies 2, broadband and phone for £31pm.

    Bargain :)

A poster on another forum mentioned a good deal that he had off live chat.
I've never had sky before so i thought i'd have a go and they offered the Complete bundle in HD for £25 on a 12 month contract, installation is £10.

I had to take it, i just need to remember to cancel at the right time :)
