Having spoken to sky today I had been offered before 50% off sky and 25% off Multiscreen.

I got offered 50% off the whole HD package but could not get the multiscreen offer as it was not on my account. I then asked for the 2TB box for £49 was told I could only have that offer if I took out Multiscreen. Asked again for an offer on that she came back with 50% multiscreen for 10 months and then full price for the other 2 months. I am happy with that she is calling on Monday to arrange an engineer free of charge to install the new box and service the current box for I will be paying £43.87 now for sky think that seems to be around £2 more than it should be but not sure. Just need to sort out phone and broadband now.

Don't rely on that. they don't have good record for 'remembering' to call you back.

I had been waiting 2 weeks for them to call about me taking up the 50% off. Well they had to take payment for the box this time so they called on time today :D

I submitted my cancellation request early January and had a few calls from Sky, firstly offering 25% and then 35% off my entire package.

Held my ground though and they have called me today and i've managed to get 50% off for 10 months with no new contract.

I have the full package with sports and movies.

Hold your ground money savers and don't buckle under the first offer from sky! :)

I cancelled my subscription to Sky as I had come to the end of my current 12 month contract. This is what I was paying:

    Variety with Sports (52.20) Telephone (16.87) BB (3.87) = £73.24

They rang me up a few days later. I have a very old sky box and they offered to replace it for free and give me:

Variety with Sports and Movies + Telephone + BB for £42.90

I turned this down as I wanted multi-room thrown in as well, but they wouldn't give me this, saying I had to pay £11.50 a month extra.

    Should I have accepted???

It's a game of brinkmanship - who's gonna blink first.

Are you a born haggler? Do you mind losing your Sky channels? Losing BB is a bigger risk - it can't be switched on again at the drop of a hat, like the Sky channels can.

Keep working on them the first offer was 25% off multiscreen in the end I got 1/2 price for 10 months which I took with the 2TB box for £49

I them notice it was half price for 12 months so went on live chat and they have given it me for 12 months now. Along with my sky at 50% off:D
