As company rep accounts do not have the PM function on their account, whoever is sending you these deals is NOT from Sky. Please ignore them and we'll look into it further.

They will (probably) be sky employees rather than a sky 'rep' which is why they can send the PM.

I lifted the URL out and pasted it into text. It is a legit sky address but the page no longer exists. I have found it diverts to a prospect landing page with a choice of new customer or upgrade for existing. You have to put your name in to claim a discount code.

I managed to get 50% discount on TV only after the win back team me today.

They couldn't do anything about my line rental or fibre broadband.

I wonder now that the discount has been applied to the TV, whether I could chance my arm and call their cancellations team. Tell them I need a Mac code to move to Plusnet (I know I don't need a Mac code but it gets me to talk to someone) .. Has anyone had a further discount on their line rental/bfroadband?

I cancelled on the 3rd and the win back team must have called three times at home since then. Each time I was at work.... until today.

More likely just "chancers" wanting a quick buck for referrals. There were some over on the Virgin Media Retentions thread on Sunday and Monday offering similar deals but actually asking for PMs to be sent to them. I wouldn't be surprised if this is the same people who don't want their forum posts about it deleted and their accounts suspended.

I doubt very much they will be Sky staff.
