FYI. Just got the come back 35% off TV deal through email yesterday. 4 days after full disconnection. However my Sky is offering 50%.

My son got a 35% off email yesterday even though he still has 12 days to go till disconnection.

he's wondering whether to phone and see if he can get the 50% or wait.

I think if he waits till it goes off he'll have a better shot at getting 60% off. When the 50% off appears on the my sky try and haggle with the online chat guys from a stronger base.

Was no one else able to get the Sports/Movies HD for £1 per month for 12 months? I recieved e-mail confirmation a few days ago. I only called to ask for 1/2 price HD and was told this was a deal they currently had on.

I did tell him he should wait until it goes off which I think he has decided to do. I couldn't get them to budge on 50% but he might.

Same here. I tried a few different times but managed to get 1 to add £50 credit on the account which got me pretty close to 60%.

hi, I cancelled sky a wee while ago and have had the call with their offer. Told them I'd think about it and they said they would ring me back. They've tried about 3 times now - and I haven't been in but they never rang at the two specific times I told them to.


On phone have been offered:
Multiroom - FOC
new HD box
Current pack - £27.65 for 12 mths instead of £33
or movies included £36 for 12 mths


Today I have email offering:
new 2 TB box FREE with self setup
50% off current package for 6 mths i.e £16.50, then £33


Thoughts?

I'd prefer the first deal as that works out at 1/2 price for the TV package. Neither are amazing offers but if you wanna be done with the game then I'd go for that one. I believe you can order a 2TB box for £49 if you take out MR sub so ask about that.
