Sky chat has given me this number - 03332 02 21 35, anyone else tried this one? I was given it as my current offer has just ended

FYI Just called the above number. Was totally honest about what I wanted (lower price as my deal had ended!), was offered -

    1. Free multi room Sky+ HD box (normally £49), Free installation (normally £60) with multi room at £5.25 per month for 12 months (normally £11.25) and Sky Go Extra Free for a month.

    2. 20% off for 8 months (similar to what I`v been on for previous 2/3 years.)

No 12 month minimum term. Maybe be useful for anyone out there thinking of adding multi room :o
3.975 kWp System, South facing, 21 degree pitch, 15 x Canadian Solar Elps, Samil Inverter, location NE Scotland (Fraserburgh) Bring on the Sun

Multi room is currently 1/2 for all current sky customers who don't have it. The deal was posted on hotdeals and Sky go extra is free for all Multi room subs.

Got the EE £162 phone/broadband deal (then £120 Amazon voucher) for a 12 month contract (Finishes Saturday). I'll just have to use my inclusive calls on the mobile to let SWMBO ring our daughters during the week.

    ByeBye Sky.

...what is this EE deal and where do you get it? :j

...phoning Sky tomorrow for a BB haggle fest...got TV for 50% off for the next 11 months anyway so no point threatening to cancel 'the whole shebang'...just the BB & phone :D

All these free SKY Broadband offers for sky but they are non fibre ADSL.

I know some people get reasonable speeds on non fibre through the phone line dependent on how close they are to the exchange but I get 3mb and it's unbearable for anything other than browsing.

This is 2014 man, we can't live on 3mb broadband SKY!! lol

I could probably just about live with 3mb, wouldn't be great for streaming stuff though. I get about 9MB and that's good enough for me.

The 2 year free BB deal also had a 12 month 1/2 price fiber deal. Only prob with it is that you had to take out an 18 month contract which means for the last 6 months you'd be paying around £35 just for phone and internet.
  • Got another 50% off for 12 months (Family/Sports/Movies/HD) after going through cancellations. Started with Live Chat, after pushing Sky Sports 5 to the moon and bizarrely trying to flog me multiscreen the best they could do was around 10%. Two days later they rang me offering 35% then 50% with no contract in same call. All pretty painless in my experience!

Cheers for the clarification Gem. Order placed for Phone and Broadband with EE as they assured me no MAC code was needed and it could all be transferred over seamlessly. I figured that Sky wouldn't match £136 cashback and then the equivalent of £13.50 for phone and broadband so just jumped in.

Now, I just need to wait and see what happens with the TV. I hope by transferring my phone/BB over, it won't affect any offers I might get after the cancellation goes through for the TV. :S

Hi Diddly. Just to clarify , you cancelled , then got offered 50% within 2 days ?

Interesting that I had a call from Sky wanting to let me know about some offers, even though I i didnt manage to cancel the previous night. Becuase he refused to tell me quickly the offers, I said I cant wait 20 mins, so he just hung up - honest !!

Yep, haven't even got my cancellation letter yet

I wasn't expecting any good offers until after disconnection to be honest.
