You should do a webchat. Say you were called by the win-back team, you missed the call and was wondering what they wanted to offer you.0 -

I only did live chat an hour ago to say Id missed 9 calls from the 0800 retentions team and she said 'theres no records of out contacting you' said fine - Ill wait for another call
They've just called and offered 35% off which seems standard although he did say this was off package, HD and Multiroom- Im holding out for the 50% off - tried to negotiate free line rental to bring cost down but he said no! Wonder if anyone rec'd a flyer or anything re: free line rental - this would bring it down to where I need it to be!0 -
Just updating, my Sky had been off for a week but today they called and offered 50% off entire tv package Original Bundle with Sports and Movies for 12 months! I'll be paying £23 per month the entire time! Not tied into the contract either so accepted the deal! See you all in 12 months time!
PS I asked to include HD pack for half price but they wanted to tie me into a new 12 months contract so I decided against it. Might try again later to see if they budge on that!
Be extremely careful. You are at grave risk of falling into Sky's notorious "Elephant Trap".
The 50% discounted deal to which you signed up is what Sky calls your "package". If you had opted for the HD pack (discounted or otherwise) from the outset of your deal, the HD pack would have been included in your "package". But you did not. And, buried deep in the tiny print of the Terms & Conditions of your discount deal is a short but lethal sentence which states that if you change your package your discount will cease with immediate effect.
Sky, moreover, never budges on its requirement that upgrading to the HD pack locks you into your contract for a further year.
So, if you upgrade to the HD pack now, or later, you will have "changed your package": you will lose your 50% discount immediately and be locked into your contract, at full price, for the following 12 months.
Golden Rule – Never change your package in any way when you are on a discounted deal: it would lose you your discount.Nothing in all the world is more dangerous than sincere ignorance

I think You're right mate! I did call back and they couldn't give half price on HD pack so I left it. I am fairly happy with what I got so probably not worth tampering with the discounted package just in case they mess it up for me!0 -

The MSE forum members have been brilliant again :money::T. went online this morning and after faffing around with a CS Rep for 30 mins she kindly transferred me to the Win back team online chat Rep.
after telling him my annoyance with sky retention procedures. he was able to offer me 50% off my package and haggled £33 credit on account. so thats 50% of my family bundle package (sep price rise included in discount) to 16.50 per month for 12 months, free 3d for lifetime (i don't even need this but its free i guess), plus £33 credit.
I know some have been getting 60% + but i am happy with what i got and given the fact i only currently have TV package with sky its ok with me.
Thanks all that replied and gave me confidence in doing this and see the end result.

Can you give any idea of what you said -as above they just offered us 35% of the entire package inc HD MUultiroom etc -which we turned down - Im after 50% off plus a credit of some sort seeing as those offers are out there - just wondered what you might have done different to me!0 -
@olduserpasswordforgot - Had you 'cancelled' Sky or was your offer from retentions?0
