Perhaps you're right and that is the easiest and cheapest option. Hmm

BT is cheapest but requires a TV aerial for the freeview channels. Arg!!.

Your Sky box will become a Freesat from Sky box so you will get all the freesat from sky channels. You can also get BT Sport I believe via your Sky box if you continue to subscribe to that channel.
  • After a measly 10% off the family bundle being offered i politely declined and proceeded with cancellation. sales rep very nicely hinted i maybe getting call back soon after i stated its shame sky could not offer me a better deal.

Hopefully this waiting game ends quickly :undecided:think: and sky do offer me the 50% or 60% which is even better :T

First line of OP's post states that he wants RECORDABLE BT Sport. The recording functions are disabled on a Sky+ box when the Sky subscription is cancelled.

You're right. I had missed the recordable need for Peco.

Wazza's previous post that he/she quoted says that it was only TV that was cut off as BB and phone still in contract.
The poster concerned was bemoaning the fact that he has had no calls or E-mails from Sky offering a deal to return. He was not complaining that he has no phone or access to the internet!:)

Thank you - I stand corrected.

Anyone know of any codes or vouchers to get BT sports for around 1/2 price without having any BT/plusnet products? I have everything with sky and would like BT sport when the new season starts but don't really feel its value at £12/15.

Just updating, my Sky had been off for a week but today they called and offered 50% off entire tv package Original Bundle with Sports and Movies for 12 months! I'll be paying £23 per month the entire time! Not tied into the contract either so accepted the deal! See you all in 12 months time!

PS I asked to include HD pack for half price but they wanted to tie me into a new 12 months contract so I decided against it. Might try again later to see if they budge on that!
