    The poster specifically asked about the 'upgrade offers' section on 'my sky' which won't appear if you don't cancel everything. Not offers by email or telephone.

    So, after cancelling Sky a week ago I received a call from a Sky agent who had the broadest Scottish accent I have ever heard. After asking him to repeat himself over half a dozen times I gave up and ended the call. I don't quite understand the reason for the call as he wasn't going to make me a better offer than the one I'd already turned down.

    well my sky finally ended today, checked my mysky account and its their, 50% off, did it online via the live chat, just over £20 for the full pack + hd, lovely !

    i wasnt bothered about waiting (or not ) for a 75% off offer, so im more than happy, thanks for all those that gave me the confidence to do it !

    Right I have an update since my first post.

    My Sky was disconnected last Monday (07.04.14). Logged on to my sky the next day to see that I had an exclusive 50% off offer on TV. Just got off the phone to Sky 5 minutes ago ( I was away on holiday in Devon all weeks from last Monday), & got the 50% deal no problem but I thought I'd be cheeky & said that I spoke to a work colleague who got 75% off & could I get that offer. She responded with the 75% off expired a couple of weeks ago, but said she might be able to better the 50% off. She came back with 60% off which means full package including HD for £30.05 a month.

    I was happy with 50% off but to get better than that I'm over the moon. Thanks to all you guys on here. If I'd not have seen this thread I would have still been paying £67.25 a month.

    Recieved an offer from Sky if i sign up for another 12 months will get 10% off.

    Will they give more if i call up to haggle?

    Not sure whether to call or not, or wait. I declined a good offer on 31 March when they called me, and regret it. lol

    dont worry, mine was exactly the same until i was disconnected, logged in, 50% off was right there as soon as you logged in, had sky down about 15 mins in total, just accepted via the sky live chat,

    Called Sky canx team Sat am and zilch return, they offered paltry 10% discount for 12 months (£84 reduction on my annual bill of £720) so didnt bother taking it up

    Also rang them earlier this year January time and same story then

    Mentioned to advisor that colleagues and neighbours of mine had negotiated discounts on their subs some up tp 50% and advisor said she had never heard of such offers in the twelve months she has worked in canx team

    Seems like its pot luck on whether they offer you anything and customer advisor was happy for me to go ahead and put in a canx request!!

    Been with sky over 15years and feel a bit done by with not getting any worthwhile offer / discount

    May try again next month unless any tips that work are shared
