Got up this morning and my Sky tv has ended. Logged into my sky account online and no offers that I could see under the 'upgrade' menu.

Call on the 6th April from the sky team, and a 20 min call with an initial offer of £60 then £51.15. I agreed to the second deal, told no tie in at all.
This morning I had an email indicating ongoing bill would be £67, so I called to query. Advised there was no deal from Sunday on my account below £67, which was never even discussed! I asked them to reinstate my cancellation date, which they refused to do, and told me to make a request by email.

If you get any deal with any company always email the company (customer services, ceo or chairman, etc. ) with words 'could you please pass on my thanks to ????, customer services who hass offered me the following deal today :'.

I have always done this for any deal that I am offered by VM, Sky, Ttalk, Npower, etc. and quite often I get GOGW if the company disputes the deal.

Did you cancel the entire package. Eg phone and bb as well, if not the offers won't appear.

Ah ok. Our phone and broadband is still active as we got some good deals on them.

Is it worth giving them a call later and see if they've got any better offers than previously?

I said we just didn't really use it previously. May just see if they can beat a number (what we were previously paying)

    This is incorrect.

I cancelled my entire TV package but retained my BB and phone and have received two calls and an email offering 50% off TV services.

No calls and no offers online, needed to call them on the day of disconnection to get 75% off and our marketing preferences are set to be contactable.

i am due to be disconnected 27 April. I looked online today, and it says, "Unable to proceed. Unfortunately we are unable to show your exclusive offers available online. To continue or for more information, please call 08442 411 818."

Not sure whether to call or not, or wait. I declined a good offer on 31 March when they called me, and regret it. lol

I'm with Virgin Media and have 10 months to run on an 18 month contract. I'm due to move in the next 3 months to an area where VM don't cover. Will I have to pay the remaining 8 months of my contract or do VM charge a cancellation fee as they are unable to cover my new home?

Me too. I'm hoping they can offer something cheap or I'll go broadband only.

Me too. It probably wouldn't be Sky BB either!

I realise that they aren't going to repeat the offer they made to O2 customers but would want a substantial discount off their 'list' prices in order to continue. I didn't really 'want' the TV in the first place.

Have called both BT and Virgin to see what they can offer ex-Sky customers..but they seem keen on pushing their most expensive packages and 'extras' rather than offering something similar to what I already get.
