I thought we were supposed to be cut off on the 21st but it was the 18th found put when I checked online and it said I wasn't a customer, called straight away and they gave the discount there and then no questions asked....only wish I had asked for multi room and a new box as we'll :rotfl::rotfl:
Is the 75% deal going to run out though before my months notice has ?
Must admit Ive never thought of cancelling then 'coming back' the same day ! Sounds like a good plan - unless Im missing something.
I wont cancel my broadband / phone - just the TV package - as I assume the 50 and 75% deals are just on the TV package ?0 -
Put cancellation in - got about 20 days to run. Very polite CS rep offered me the 25% off, which I declined, when giving notice. I'd only really go back for the 75% off, £60-odd pounds a month is far too much. Am happy to be without it for the summer, so will see what transpires.0

No one knows if or when they will change all I know is for the last 5 years we gave probably only paid full price for maybe 6 months and they have given discounts of 10 to 50% without needing to cancel. But recently the amount they offered got less and less so was about to just take what they offered until I saw the hotukdeals page. Couldn't believe they offered it same day though, didn't even know if they had switched the channels off when I called. I only have TV with them but have heard of people getting deals on phone and broadband as well.
Good luck.0 -
If you have the 75% offer applied to your package you should be able to add sports or movies later and get the same discount on those.
I took out the Entertainment Extra + with sports + HD for £18.75 a week ago and rang up today to add movies and the girl said as I already have sports I can have movies for £8 extra (too much for me) but when she added it it is only £2 extra which I think is a bargain even if I only watch 1 or 2 films a month.
No 12 month contract either for movies (or sports) so I can cancel by giving them 31 days notice.0 -
Has anybody had a sky multiscreen discount. My 12 month 50% off offer has just expired and my monthly charge had gone up to £27. We can't use Sky at the moment as I just rearranged the lounge and TV is in a different part of the room so Multiscreen would be a good option.
I will try for 75% off, I wouldn't mind paying £20 for Entertainment extra and Multiscreen.0 -

You only need Multi Screen if you want Sky in 2 or more different rooms.0 -

We would probably shorten the cables and wire into the kids bedroom and have the multi screen box downstairs.
The room has been decorated so don't want lots of cabling. Personally I would go for an internet TV option and not bother with Sky at all.0 -
took 20 minutes on the phone - lots of being on hold and transfer from bob to bill to janet
but 31 days notice finally given0 -

If you don't want a mess of cabling, the best option is to invest in some trunking. I have to ask why you didn't do this as part of your new decorating?I would go for an internet TV option and not bother with Sky at all.0 -
I have cancelled my TV but not the phone and internet.. will i still get an come back offer sent to me?
The problem is i do not want to be left with no phone and internet and if i move to another provider i will be tied in to a minimum 12 month contract..
