Used this plusnet deal http://www.plus.net/offers/feboffer14/unlimited/?WT.mc_id=aff_003a&awc=2973_1393772684_a5d0de9f81dff1eea9cac8b95a11b16e to haggle free Sky B/B for 12 months, saving £120 per year, only pay line rental and £5 call package now.0

cancelled sky two weeks ago currently paying £67.25 for all of the tv package including HD. They've just called and offered it to me for £37.05. Think I'll take it0

Phoned Sky and said wanted to cancel. I only have basic package. I wanted HD but could not get any deals.
Got offered basic package with HD for £20.00 for a year, saving of £12 per month, happy enough0 -
My 12 months half price TV+Sports package with Sky finishes on Friday.
They rang a few days after I cancelled it to offer 20% off but I said no. Since then not a thing from them except a letter confirming all TV services are stopping on Friday.
We have been clearing recorded programmes off the box and I have got my trusty old Humax freeview recorder out of the loft ready for cut off. I wonder if they will ring me with a better deal sometime soon ? 50% or more and an HD discount will probably get me back on board.0 -
Rang on Wednesday to cancel my package, second cancellation call.
Called them 6 months ago and got 6 months free TV and only paying the £10 something for the HD pack.
Got "the call" on Friday night offering me my TV pack including the HD for £23 all in for a new 12 month contract.
I've got all channels except movies and sport. I'm on one of the older packages so get the F1 Chanel as part of the HD pack, not the sports pack like it is now.
I only watch the F1 channel and docs really, with the odd Sky 1 programme.
Unfortunately the girl called at the most inappropriate time on Friday, I'd literally just got in from work, with my takeaway, so after much chit chat, and me saying I just want my tea, she said someone would call back on Monday evening.
Let's see what happens0 -
Paying £21.50 per month for entertainment extra package plus movies for 12 months and 1/2 price Fibre broadband for 6 months then full price (£10.00). I rang Sky today as I noticed that they added a product to my package which I never asked for.
They quickly removed the product and as a way of compensation they offered me the fibre broadband for 1/2 price for 12 months instead of 6.It's better to regret something I did do than to regret something that I didn’t. :EasterBun0 -

When you call to cancel, you may be offered a deal to stay.
It all depends how much you need to save...0 -
Mine was a bit different as I phoned about the half price movie deal, the lady asked if I would like my account reviewed.
I ended up having the movie channels for 12 mths, 6mths at ½ price for much less than I was paying without movies. I didn't know this could happen I thought it was only if you cancelled.:D0
