It's sky multi-screen now and i pay £2.50 a month0 -
We cancelled our Virgin contract last week, we were paying around £75 a month for
XL TV
Anytime calls
60MB broadband
2 x TiVo boxes
Multiroom
Which would have had the price increase in February.
Have had a call from retentions this morning offering the same package for £56.99 a month, on a 12 mth contract, with no price increase, I'm not sure if we should hold out for more, but we're happy with that discount, so will probably go for it.0 -
Hmm a letter from Sky today saying my Movies would no longer be HD in a couple of weeks. But I don't have Sky Movies...0

Had been on 50% off all channels, for the last year. The offer finished on 15 December. I rang to cancel & was offered 25% off, which I refused and proceeded to cancel.
I was cut off on 15 January. Last week I had a missed call from an 0141(Glasgow) number. So, I rang up Sky, today, to advise of that I'd missed a call from Sky. Was offered, immediately, 50% off all channels, with no contract. Of course, I accepted.
The moral of the story is: stick to your guns and allow the cancellation to go through.0 -
Phoned Sky to cancel today as my 12 months is up soon. I currently pay £50 a month for...
- Sky+HD box with Entertainment Extra
- Unlimited Broadband
- Sky Talk Weekends
Been offered the same but for £36 a month which seems good to me and don't think I could do any better as we're not exactly high spending customers.
Does anyone know if there have been any offers floating about for adding Sky Sports??0 -
I left Sky last September, thought I might of received something from them by now but nothing. They musn't be in any panic to get old subscribers back or indeed keep current ones as when I left telling them it was to expensive they very kindly offered to reduce my package to cut costs.0

I got the MSE 1/2 price Sky offer nearly a year ago. I am going to cancel shortly and see what they offer. I also have O2 broadband and home phone and am due to be transferred across to Sky broadband and phone in a month or so. I am thinking I might have a bit of bargaining power there too.
I was thinking of getting a BT Youview package but the 18 month contract means if Sky come back to me after Sky TV is turned off with a good price I couldn't accept as I would be with BT.0 -

That's a very good deal you got. Is that including line rental or are you paying the 1 year line rental up front?
Did you tell them you were going elsewhere for a better deal, and if so, do you mind me asking what the deal was you quoted to get this price? Wouldn't mind having a go myself!0
